::Ellanae’s P.O.V::

We pulled up to school and if you saw cars.

The school car park was literally filled.

You’d think it was the entire school graduating, and not just our graduating class.

“Y’all can hop out, I’ll find somewhere to park.”

“Thanks daddy.” I said without looking at him.

My mom, Danielle, Aaron and I hopped out the car and made our way towards the entrance.

“Good evening ladies and gentleman. All guests are going straight to the auditorium, the graduates are going upstairs to the drama room.” The guard said.

“Alright, Honey we’ll see you on stage,”

“You will,” I smiled, then handed the camera to Danielle, “You can take decent pictures right?”

“I’ll do it,” Aaron said taking the camera from Danielle.

I looked at him funny since I was still uncomfortable around him but he should be the last person on my mind,

“Just—“

“I know what to do Ellanae, Go on.”

“Fine,”

My mom kissed me on my forehead before we went our separate ways.

The three of them made their way to the auditorium and I walked up the stairs to the drama room with my speech clutched tightly in my hands.

When I made my way up to the large doors, I pushed them open to see a room filled with people all dressed up.

“Ellanae!” They chimed.

“You’re late, I thought you weren’t coming,” Mr Heights said walking up to me.

“Well I’m here now.”

“The only person we’re missing is Ray.”

“I’m here,” Ray said running into the room.

He had all his hair out and to be honest, he actually looked older.

“Everyone’s here!” My heights chimed, “Alright, everyone put your gowns on and sit!”

It took a while for everyone to get their gowns on, but in about 10 minutes, we were all in our white gowns and caps, looking like angels.

“There you are,”

I turned around to be face to face with Jacob and he leaned forward and gave me a soft kiss.

“Can you believe we’re graduating in a matter of minutes?” He asked swinging my hand.

“Seems like it was only yesterday when you pushed me down in the hallway in middle school.”

He let out a nervous chuckle and I smiled.

“It’s all over now, it’s in the past.”

“And Jacoba is our future,” He smiled rubbing my stomach.

I slapped his hand away and crossed my arms.

“What did I tell you about that? And for the millionth time, our child is not going to be named Jacoba!” I whispered.

“Mhmm, You’ll learn to love it.”

“I can’t with you,” I chuckled.

“Alright everyone!” Mr Heights shouted, “Line up in alphabetical order! And can I get Amanda and Ellanae over here please?”
