::Daniel’s P.O.V::

I scratched off another tally mark on the wall.

Jail, is the fucking worst.

“Simmons, you have a visitor.”

“Finally.”

“What was that?” The officer asked as he walked in to take me out the cell.

“Nothing.” I said shaking my head.

I was taken into the visiting room and made to sit down at a table.

A while later, my visitor walked in.

“Look at you,” They chuckled, “You need a shave.”

“Man shut up with that shit. The fuck you want?”

“Well damn,” They said throwing their hands up, “Like you don’t want to hear the news I have for you.”

“If you don’t fucking tell me.” I growled.

“Okay, Okay. Ellanae had the baby.”

A smile grew across my face.

“She did now?”

“Yeah, baby boy.”

“Interesting.” I said rubbing my chin.

“Just thought you’d want to know.”

“Nah, that’s good information to know.”

“Wanna know the name?”

“Nah, not now.” I smiled rubbing my chin some more.

Looks like I’ll be paying someone a visit as soon as I get out here.

::Ellanae’s P.O.V::

So, today’s the day we finally get to carry Xavier home.

The bitch didn’t come see her new nephew once.

Shame he has to call her Aunty Claire.

It’s disgusting.

“You ready?” Jacob asked walking into the room.

Both our moms had to work today and couldn’t get away to pick us up from the hospital, but Jacob was more than willing.

“Yup.” I said zipping up my bag before pulling my shirt down.

I picked Xavier up from off the bed and looked at him.

He had on a full blue outfit with a blue and black bonnet, some of his hair exposed.

“You ready to go home baby?” I asked bringing him closer and kissing him.

“Ellanae, Hi.”

I turned around to see Dr. Jenou by the door.

“Hi.” I smiled.

“I’m glad to see you both in a good mood, you too Jacob.”

Jacob nodded.

“Here’s the card for the pediatrician.” She said handing me a card. “She’s also my sister.”

“Oh,” I smiled taking the card.

“Carry him for his first check up in the next 3 months alright, and call me whenever you need anything.”
