::Ellanae’s P.O.V::

An entire month’s gone by.

All my friends are gone off to college.

Well they've been gone for a long while now, and I’m stuck in a house all day getting fatter and fatter and eating more food by the minute.

8 months, I always wondered how people could be pregnant for 9 months.

I now see how hard it is.

This pregnancy shit is not easy.

My feet are all swollen, I have to pee every 2 seconds, my hormones go on and off like there are little people inside me flipping a switch.

The good thing is that Jacob and I are back together.

Danielle left late Septermber so most of the time it's just Claire and I in the hous and I hate it. 

We had a funeral for Jasmine three weeks ago, and invited almost everyone in our year.

A lot of people did show up actually, but the weird thing was that not a single member of her family showed up. I don’t even know if her parents are alive or if she had any siblings because she never talked about them.

As a matter of fact, we never asked either, but we can’t now.

I cried, I couldn’t help it, Most of us did, Latimore sang some emotional songs which left even more people in tears.

Charmaine was quiet through the entire ceremony, it’s as though she knew what was going on.

Latimore is having the time of his life with Charmaine. You know most teenage parents aren’t ready, like Jacob and I, but Latimore seems to be a pro at it.

Everyone saw my fat ass at the funeral, and sure there were whisperers, but everyone kept assuring me that it was alright, 

Especially Jacob and Latimore. 

Speaking of Jacob and Latimore, Jacob asked me if I wanted to come along with him to see his aunt today but I told him he should go by himself, have a day to himself but he told me he’d come by when he comes back.

He spoils me.

Latimore’s coming over with Charmaine in a few. We’re the only people still around since everyone else has gone to school.

I wish I could go, but I have a baby to take care of.

Jacob said maybe if I spend some time with Charmaine I’d become more comfortable when the baby comes.

My phone started vibrating

I turned my head to the door to see Latimore walk inside with a bag in one hand, and Charmaine in the other.

“Latimore and baby!” I smiled.

Latimore chuckled and walked over to me and sat down while re-arranging Charmaine’s position.
