.
.
"It's nice to meet you Ace, I don't know if you remember but I am Austin and that's Hayden Levi and Sailor!"
"Thanks for letting me stay with you all! But about how we are going to get to your house will I'll drive behind you while you lead me to your house?"
"Yep!" Replied Cameron.
"Let's get going! Do you have everything?" Cameron added.
"Yeah it's all in my car, thanks again!"
"No problem!"

We all get in the car and start to drive while Ace follows behind us in his car.
"Why didn't they let us stay in their house when our mother died?"
"We offered, and besides we have more room in our house!" Answered Cameron.
"Is he nice? He looks scary!"
"Sailor! You can't comment on someone's looks like that, it's very rude!"
"Sorry!"
"It's okay, just don't be rude to him or talk about his mother! The last few days and now have been very hard for him!"
"I won't"
"Thank you!"

When we arrived back at the house we showed Ace his room.
"We will be making dinner soon, you can have some if you want but if you don't that's fine, just help yourself to anything in the kitchen." Said Cameron
"Thanks"
"No problem!" .

When we had dinner downstairs while Ace had his up in his room.
He stayed up there all day, I felt bad.
Cameron said it was normal.
He said he was grieving, I didn't know what grieving meant but Cameron said it's when your feeling sad, very sad.
"Did I ever grief before?" I asked.
"I think so? When you were a baby, only one, after our mother died you cried for her for weeks after"
"Oh, I can't really remember.."
"Thats ok! But I think you should go to bed now, it's late!"
"Okay! Goodnight!"
"Night!"
"Night Sailor!" Said Levi finally glancing up from his phone.
"Goodnight!" Shouted Austin from the sofa.
Hayden ran up to me and gave me a hug.
"Night, sweet dreams!"
"Goodnight!" I said while hugging him back.

I fell asleep quickly.
I don't know if it was because of everything that happened today or school, or if I was just tired.
But my peaceful sleep didn't last for long.

I wake up to a bang.
What was that?
Maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me.
I wait for a few minutes and hear nothing else.
Must have been nothing .
But I feel very thirsty, I glance around my room for something to drink but nothing.

I decided to go to Levi's room for some water, I knew his room would be the only one unlocked.
I walk into his room and he jumps.
He looked shocked but then seen me and took a sigh of relief.
He was playing his games again.

"Seriously Sailor? You scared me I thought you were Cameron, what are you doing up?

I rub my eyes trying to adjust to the light.
"I'm thirsty!" I say sleepily.
"Well I have no water, sorry!"
"Can you come downstairs to get some for me?" I asked still half asleep.
"Get it yourself!"
"I'm scared!"
"Of going downstairs?"
"It's dark, please !"
"Here!" He throws me a torch.
"Give it back to me when your done!"
I look down at the torch and then back up at him.

I realise he is not going anywhere any time soon and if I want water I am just going to have to get it myself.

I turned on the torch and the stairs light up but I couldn't see any further.

I slowly creeped down the stairs clutching onto the torch like it would protect me from any harm.
Just as I made my way to the sink to get some water I felt a cool breeze hit my body making me shiver.
Was the window open?
No, it couldn't be Cameron always makes sure to close them before he goes to bed.
But the I see it.
The door it was wide open.
I shine my torch outside.

Then I see a silhouette.
The silhouette was sitting on the steps of our deck facing the sea.
Then they must have seen the torches light because they turned around.

It was Ace.
I jumped letting out a small scream.

He looked at me.
His eyes.......there was something about them, I knew them from somewhere.. not from him, from someone else. It was like he was wearing someone else's eyes.

He also had something glowing in his hand.
Once he realised it was me he turned back around.

"Do you want some water?" I ask quietly.
"No" replied a cold voice.
"What are you doing out there?"

Then he held something up, still not facing me.
One side of it was glowing orange.
It was a cigarette.
I stood there shocked .

"Cameron said those were bad for you.."
"He's right!"
"Then why do you do it?"
"I don't know?"

"Can I sit beside you?"
He turns back around and looked at me.
"If you stop shining that torch in my eyes!"
"Sorry!" I say quickly trying to turn it off.

I walked over and sat beside him on the step.
I looked at the waves crashing against the sand.
It was calming.

"What are you doing up?"
"I was thirsty"
"What's with the torch?"
"I don't like the dark it's scary, and Levi wouldn't bring me down here so he gave me a torch instead"
He slightly laughed, still staring at the sea.

"It's nice, isn't it?"
"Yeah" I replied.

"Want a smoke?" He asked handing me the box of cigarettes.
I looked up at him with my mouth wide open.

"Your mouth is open" he said looking back down at me.

I quickly close my mouth and look back at the sea embarrassed.

"What's your name again?" He asked after a few seconds of silence.
"Sailor.."
"Because of the sea?" He asked
"What?" I asked confused.
"Is your name Sailor because you live beside the sea, like how sailors go on boats, in the sea?"
"I never thought of it like that, maybe?"
"Well, I think you should go back to bed now!"
He was right.

Just as I got up to go back to bed he handed me a bottle of water.
"Thanks!"

As I walked back inside I heard him again.
"Sailor?"

I turned back around to see him still facing the sea.

"I wasn't actually going to let you smoke, I just wanted to see what you would say!"

I smile, still embarrassed.

"Goodnight!"
"Night Sailor!"
