Raising Sailor

"Pretty please?"

Levi continued to laugh.
"Very funny!" Said Ace still angry.

"You can't be getting into fights, especially not at midnight!"
"Yeah I understand that Cameron, but I am an adult, you can't boss me around or control what I do!"
"Not when you are living in my house!"
"Do you think I want to live in your stupid fucking house? With your annoying siblings especially Sailor? The only reason I am living here is because I can't afford to pay rent and buy food in my own house, but when I finally get a job I am out of here!" He shouted.

"Don't shout at Cameron!" I cried.
"Come on Sailor, let's go" said Levi taking my hand.
Followed by Hayden.

"Where are we going?" I asked still crying.
"Do you have the keys?" Levi asked Hayden
"Yeah!"
"We are going to the car!"
"What bout Austin and Cameron?"
"They'll be here soon!"

We walked all the way back to the car.
All I could think of is when Ace said I was annoying.
I wasn't annoying!

We sat in the car silently.
The only noise was coming from me, who was playing with the car keys.

"Stop that Sailor!" Said Levi.
"Why?"
"It's giving me a headache!"
"How?"
"It just is, so stop!"

I throw the keys in the ground and cross my arms.

"Why don't you try go to sleep?" Asked Hayden.
"It's too uncomfortable!"
"I'll hold you!"

That was all he needed to say.
Soon I was curled up in his arms, fast asleep.

But I was soon woken up to Hayden moving me into my car seat.

"Sorry!" He whispered softly.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"Still at the hospital, we are going home now!"
"Is Ace here?" I whispered.
"No, the hospital said he should stay there for the night, just to monitor him, to make sure he is okay, that's all, we will pick him up in the morning!"
"He called me annoying!" I said crossing my arms angrily.
"That's not true, you are very sweet, kind, caring and funny!"

I could always count on Hayden to make me feel better.

I smile "so are you Hayden!" But then I remembered,
"What about the carnival?" I asked, we were supposed to go tomorrow, but now Ace had ruined that, now we have to get him from the hospital!
"We'll see!" He said.

Usually that means no.

"You might be too tired, but if your not we could try bring everyone after we collect Ace!"
"Don't listen to Hayden, he won't bring us, but it's not his fault it's Ace's he has to ruin this for us!"  Said Levi in an angry tone.
"Levi have some sympathy for him, he is just after loosing his mother, you have to try understand he is not in a great place right now!" Said Cameron finally speaking.

"Yeah Cameron is right!" Added Austin.
"Seriously? He called all of us annoying and our house fucking stupid!"
"Just try put yourself in his shoes."

"They wouldn't fit Levi?" I said, silly Cameron!

Cameron laughed.
"I don't mean literally, I mean try imagine what his life is like for him right now!"
"Probably not too good"
"That's right Sailor, so even if he is being a bit mean we still have to try our best to be nice, can you all do that for me please?" Asked Cameron .
"Yep!" I said happily.

"Levi? Will you?"
Silence.
"Pretty please?"
Levi sighed .
"Fine! I'll try!"
"Thank you!"
