"Bye Sailor!"
"Bye!" I shout to Ms. Amy while running to Levi who was waiting for me.

"How was after school?" Levi asked as we walked home.
"Good! We played games and coloured in!"

I started going to 'after schools'.
It was just a club kids would go to when school ended, we played games and just done fun stuff.
I went as I got off earlier but there was no one to come get me from school so I would go to after schools until Levi finished school, then a few hours later Austin and Hayden would finish school!

Our school was not too far from our house so Levi and I would walk home.

Ace was still staying with us.
It had been a 2 weeks since that night I seen him sitting outside.
He never mentioned it again.

Ace constantly looked tired and sad, I don't blame him.
Cameron told me it's very hard for him, loosing someone that close to you.
Cameron said it would take him awhile until he would be himself again.

Another thing about Ace that I had noticed is that he could be happy one minute and the opposite the next.
He also hadn't went to school yet, Cameron said we were giving him time to settle in and recover a bit before he would go back to school and he could take as long as he needed off.

Cameron also said I ask too many questions.

But suddenly Levi's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"We're back!" He shouted as we walked in the door.
Then we see Ace sitting at the table.
Not facing either of us.

But suddenly Levi and I see the exact same thing.
The remote.
We slowly turn our heads to each other then drop down our bags and charge for the tv remote that was on our sofa.

We both grabbed it at the same time.
"It's my turn to watch something!"
"No you had it first last time!"
"No I didn't you did!"
"Well you just want to watch stupid cartoons, I don't and I am older so I get to have it first!"
"No youngest first!"
"Give it to me!" I shout while we both pull on either end.

But then it gets taken out of both of our hands.
We both look up confused as to who just had taken the remote.
It was Ace.

"What do you want to watch?" He asked me.
"Cartoons!"
"And you?" He asked Levi.
"Horror movie!"
"Okay, well I will just turn on a show that has both"

Levi looks at me confused.

But then the show starts playing.
"I'll be back in a minute!" Said Ace walking out the door.

The show was a cute little  cartoon bunny and a bear at a lemonade stand.
It was so cute.
I glanced over at Levi who was looking very bored and unimpressed.
They sold lemonade to other little cartoon characters.
But soon they ran out of lemonade..
Then the bear turned the bunny into lemonade .

I screamed and started sobbing.
What was happening?
"ITS HURTING THE BUNNY!" I screamed.
But Levi just started laughing.

I ran out to Ace who was smoking outside.

"ACE!" I cried.
"IT KILLED THE BUNNY AND TURNED IT INTO LEMONADE!" I balled.
He glanced down at me still sobbing.
"Oh well"
What?
Oh well? The bunny just died?

"IT IS NOT FAIR I WANTED THE BUNNY TO LIVE!"
"But you see, that's the thing! Life's not fair and we don't always get what we want, the bunny is dead and there is no bringing it back, you could cry for hours but at the end of the day the bunny is dead, and we just have to sit there and watch it painfully die knowing we can't stop it or do anything about it! Now go on back inside!"
I stood there shocked.

What type of answer was that?

"Go on back inside, you don't want to miss the show!" He said pushing me back inside.

I sat back down beside Levi.
Still crying.

"It's okay Sailor!" He said hugging me.

"Is it though?" Said Ace coming back inside.
"The bunny!" I cried.

"It's actually not okay, at all, you never got to say goodbye to the bunny before it got turned into lemonade, you took it's life for granted, and now the bunny is dead, and you regret not appreciating it's life more and everyone just goes on without the bunny, acting like everything is okay and the bunny was never alive at all, but who cares? The bunny might as well not be alive anymore! No one remembers the bunny after all."

This makes me go into another fit of sobs.

"Come on Sailor..let's go upstairs..." said Levi taking my hand.

"I didn't want the bunny to die!" I cried as we walked up the stairs.
"I know, it's okay.." he whispered.

Levi took me into his room and closed the door.
"That was weird and creepy!" He said .

"Why did the bear kill the bunny?" I sobbed.
"It's okay Sailor, it's not real! The bunny is perfectly fine! Someone just made that up to scare people, it's all just a fake cartoon! I pink promise you!"  He said pinky promising me.

I wiped my tears. "So when I drank lemonade, it was really just lemonade and not bunny?" I asked .
"Yep! Lemonade is made with lemons that grow, no bunnies at all!"
"Here do you want me to read the princess and the wizard?" He asked.
"Yeah!"

We sat on his bed for the next hour re-reading the princess and the wizard until I fell asleep.
