Two day later☁☁

I stare at the clock watching and counting the minutes as well as seconds until I can go home. I stare at the clock frowning

4:50

The clock read why does the time always move slow when ever you don't want it to? I question There's was no sign of any customer coming but mama T said "You don't know that"

Today was the slowest day no more than 2 customers came in one just only came in here for the WiFi while other order a muffin

If it was Me and Kay today we would have closed the cafe and call it a day but mama t was here today and Kay called in sick two days straight so their goes my company I made a mental note to visit her when my shift is done

"Lani you can go home now"Mama T said gently touching my shoulder

I shoot up racing out the door bidding her good bye I walked to my car quickly hoping in before she change her mind and say come back

Starting up my car I took off heading to Kay's house

"Hey sicky" I said

"What are you doing here? Why didn't I hear you got in here?" She asked sitting up her bed rubbing her eyes

Wow Kay looks like a mess

"Used the back up key you gave me remember? Also I made sure to be quiet as possible"

"Yeah yeah my head hurts my nose stuffy I hate being sick!" Kay said groaning falling back on her bed

"Poor baby I made your favorite chicken soup" I said

"Where is it?"

"Almost ready you can go back to sleep when the soup is finish I'll wake you up"

Kay nodded her head closing her eyes I left her room going downstairs checking on the soup

I called Alex the phone rang two times before he pick up

"Hey baby"

"Hey Alex I'll be home a little later because Kay is sick so I'm staying to help her out"

"Really? I hope she feels better alrighty I'll wait up for you I love you"

"I love you too"

Alex started sending kisses through the phone making me laughing minutes later I hang up shaking my head

"Wake up sleepy head" I said shaking her

She sat up yawning I cover my nose

"Nasty"

Kay kissed her teeth "Give me the soup and get out"

Laughing I gave her the soup on top of the tray grabbing the remote I turned on the tv changing it on Kay's favorite reality TV show 90 days fiance

"Ain't you going to drink some of the soup with me?" Kay asked when I sat down on her black couch

"No besides I don't like soup I just made it for you"

"Oh thank you bestie your the best I love you "

"I love you but not that stinky breath of yours"

"Bitch!"

"Alex move!" I whined pushing him away from me

"No give me a kiss baby" He said puckering his lips

"Move"

"Nope not until I feel your lips on mine"

I sighed pecking his lips he straight faced me

"Seriously!?"

"Yes seriously"

After I felt from Kay's house I went home and found Alex waiting on me as promised we order from my favorite Jamaican restaurant

While we were eating Alex took pieces of chicken without my permission after he already finished eating his 😑 yeah real fuck up

"I'll buy all the chocolate you want but you have to kiss me"

"And a foot rub?"

"You doing too much" He mugged me

I stood up pretending as if I'm leaving slowly putting my shoes on

"Where are you going?" He asked standing up

"Over Kay's house"

"For what? Baby theirs no need to leave over a piece of chicken!"

"yes!"

"Fine and a foot rub!" He said in frustrated tone

"Yay Yay!"

"Your going to be the death of me"
