The cafe was now closed we were cleaning up as in we Tasha, Randy, and Kay

Today was busy there was nothing left everything was done we had to hurry and bake more I was covered in icing a little bit because while I was making some the milk box mistakenly dropped in it while the icing was being mixed long story short I was covered in chocolate icing

I felt a light tap on my shoulder making me turn around pausing my music

"Hey, Lani can I speak with you?" Kay asked

We have been purposely avoiding each other which is hard because our work required us to speak with one other often

I nodded standing up" Is that all?" I asked typing on my phone I sent Alex a text for him to pick me up

Kay rolled her eyes sighing "You know what? I'm sorry for leaving you with ALL the work I'm sorry for everything forgive me?"

"No not yet apologize for dating a nasty nigga and I get a day off tomorrow I know your in charge tomorrow so make it happen"

I smiled pulling your into a hug

"Bitch I missed our friend but next you do some shit like that again I'm knocking you the fuck out understand?"

"Wait so she told you were Jealous?" Alex asked wrapping his hands around my waist pulling me in closer

After me and kay make up back Alex texted me telling me he was outside I said bye to kay heading outside towards his car right as I got in I started telling him everything that went down between Kay and I until we reached home and he listed he might not like hearing me gossip or telling him about most of our girl talk but he still listens that's what I love about him

I hummed putting the last twist in my hair

This is what we do every night I do my skin and hair routine while telling Alex about my day and him tells me about his until I'm done with everything we sleep

"Okay, when did Chad come over here? Where was I?" Alex asked

"Wes Work," I said letting out a yawn

"Tired?"

" Yes"

He kissed my neck softly turning me around pecking my lips

"Come on let's get some sleep," He said taking my hand in his and leading me towards our bed

Grabbing my pink bonnet I slipped it on laying down on the bed dipped seconds later Alex wrapped his arms around me pecking every part of my face

"Stop" I whined half asleep

Alex chuckled kissing my lips
