Mixed Feelings

The last week or so, it's been something. From the drama with Riley and her family to the fact that her and her roommate are merely just getting closer the longer we work on this trio. Although it might as well be a bloody duet 
"You okay babe?" Eldon asked kissing my cheek as he meets me after out Science lesson. I nodded watching as Riley walks out with the same red head

"You're not still worried about that are you?" Eldon asked with his arm securely around my waist
I sighed shrugging
This was the last thing I wanted to be worried about but it's quite literally slapping me in the face lately 

"Roo, come on!" Hunter calls joining us out of nowhere, Riley glances over flashing us all a smile before leaving Giselle to walk over to James and West

"Glad you could join us" I muttered but I'm pretty sure the only person who heard it was Eldon, the look he gave me afterwards meant that this was going to be a discussion we were going to have later
"Are we all ready for a chill night?" Hunter asked throwing his arm over Riley making her roll her eyes

Tonight is the first night since we got here that we didn't have to worry about Dance, it wasn't on tonight meaning we had all night to do as we pleased
"Why don't we all go out for some food? Like we used to?" Eldon offered and everyone seemed up for it except one person..

"I would, like I would love to but I sort of told Giselle I would help her with our Chemistry homework due on Monday" She said, I rolled my eyes scoffing to myself

I guess the Morris Apple really doesn't fall far from the tree..

The boys and I had gotten back from having dinner, it wasn't anything interesting. I was beginning to think that Riley might be the reason we all mesh well
"What shall we do now?" Hunter awkwardly said as we took a seat in the lounge
I glanced over the room to see Giselle laid on the sofa with her head on West's lap 

"I thought they were meant to be doing homework?" I asked making the boys look over. The moment their eyes saw what I saw, Hunter sat up straight while Eldon just had a look of confusion on his face

The only people missing from their group would be James and Beth. But I don't think that Beth and James will be together..

"Hey guys!" Riley smiled walking into the common room moments later like nothing had happened
"I thought you two were studying?" Eldon asked nodding to Giselle, Riley smiled at the pair before turning back to us
"We were, it didn't take us as long as we thought it might. So I went for a shower before coming here" Riley explained

"What's with the attendance check" Riley chuckled leaning back on the sofa
Believing her was not on the agenda right now.. Something is going on

It wasn't long before James made his appearance into the common room but to my shock, Beth was in fact with him..
None of this adds up and I don't like not knowing what is going on

"What's everyone's plans for the weekend?" Hunter asked continuing to bother Riley by throwing pillows at her
"I'll be smothering you with a freaking pillow in a minute pal" She groaned making Eldon laugh

"No but seriously" Hunter chuckled
"I have to meet Mum tomorrow afternoon but besides that not a lot" Riley continued
"Everything okay there?" I asked. This was the first time we'd heard of this meeting which was unusual..

"Yeah, she just wants to talk to me about my plans for next year or something like that" Riley said trying to give us all a confident smile
"What about the rest of you?" Riley asked making both boys shrug
"None of us have anything planned" I answered hoping we could turn the topic back to her

"Then why don't we plan something? Sunday I'll be free the entire day" Riley smiled, I glanced at her and honestly.. As dramatic as it sounds

She's hiding something, I can freaking tell
