Hunter 

"Well this is going to be interesting" I said as we walked into dance a week later, Michelle and Riley haven't spoken since and honestly I feel like we've barely seen Riley since they fell out
"What do you mean?" West asked, I won't lie. I'm still not the biggest fan on these two but they are slowly growing on me 

"Michelle and Riles haven't made up" Eldon said filling them in
"Yeah, we've heard all about practice from Giselle, it usually ends with someone walking out" James said making the pair of us nod
"Michelle" Both Eldon and I said earning a laugh from both boys

Moments later, Riley walked in on her own walking over to where Michelle stood slightly away from Giselle but close enough to be considered as with her

"Alright, shall we kick this off, boys or girls?" Jessica asked walking in, I looked at the boys and we were about to step forward but Michelle beat us to the punch
"We'll go" She said before walking out on to the floor leaving Giselle and Riley stood there confused 
"Something tells me, they aren't ready for this" Eldon muttered 

And honestly I hope he was wrong..

I won't lie, I was actually impressed with that. I don't think I've ever seen that side of Michelle and Riley well we all know that girl can practically do anything at this point

"It wasn't as chaotic as you lot made it out to be" James sniggered and for the first time in my entire time, I found myself agreed with the guy 
"I actually really liked that" Eldon said crossing his arms, I glanced across the room to see Michelle glaring at Riley while she sat there twiddling her thumbs 

The pair have never stayed this mad at each other, usually it was a small thing that would irrupt and then Eldon or I would step in but I don't think that is the case this time around 

"And up next, the boys" Jess said, I looked around at the boys sharing the same nod as he headed into our starting position

"Well done boys!" Jess cheered as we finished, that couldn't have gone better if I'm honest 
I might not like James but I will admit, our styles mesh pretty well

Later that evening, I was heading down the corridor to meet Eldon and Michelle in the Common room, I'd just stopped off to check on Riley. She was going to stay put in her room for the night, it shouldn't be that way but no matter how much I tell her that. It was no use

"Hunter!" A voice called making me turn around only to see Beth coming towards me

"Can I help you?" I asked raising a brow
I know Beth's type, she's the one to meddle and just purely annoy anyone that lets her close enough
She is not the type of girl I want to waste my time talking to

"It's more of the fact I can help you" She smirked, I looked at her confused again
"I'm not doing any of your cryptic. Either spit it out or leave" I said earning an eye roll 

"I just figured you'd like to know what that little Roo of yours has been up to recently" She smirked using my nickname for Riley. 
I gave her that nickname almost a lifetime ago and am honestly surprised it's stuck for so long

"What are you talking about?" I asked watching as she raised her phone to my face showing me something that was the last thing I had expected

Without a second thought I stormed straight over to the common room, Eldon and Michelle glanced over at me and smiled but they were no longer the person I was looking for 
Sure enough, just up from them was the guy who had another thing coming to him

"Hunter" Eldon called alerting everyone to my presence, James turned around looking at me. He had a confused look on his face but the closer I got the more panicked it looked until he saw Beth just behind me

"Beth I swear to god" He warned her rising to his feet
I grabbed James by the scruff of his shirt instantly pushing him against the wall 
"I suggest you get off of me man" He warned me making me scoff 
"Fat fucking chance" I said pushing my fist into chest making it evident I was staying put
"Hunter what are you doing!" Michelle called as Eldon and Michelle joined the small crowd
"Teaching someone his fucking place" I spat, James' eyes began to darken as he pushed against me but with one more push his back crashed with the wall again

"James breathe for a minute okay" West said earning a confused look from Giselle 
"you knew too?" I asked him as West began to avoid eye contact
"Eldon man" James said making me look at Eldon with a look of betrayal 

"You knew!" I yelled letting go of James turning my attention to Eldon 
"Dude chill out" Eldon warned him 
"Can someone tell me what the fuck is going on?" Michelle said putting her two pence in 

"Yeah James, why don't you tell us all what you've been up to" I spat looking at him, his brown eyes still darkened at just the look of me
"Oh what? Only interested in her when she a secret" I growled, I watched as James' hands formed into a fist only making me roll my eyes at the look of them 

"What is going on" I heard a voice said making all of us turn to see Riley stood there, Beth was nearby smirking at the drama she had just caused while Riley walked over 

She took one look at James and then me before taking a hold of his hand making his fists untighten 
Riley turned to me with a look I had never seen before, almost like she was taking her side

"What are you doing Hunt?" She asked stepping slightly in front of James
"I think the biggest question is what are you doing Riley, have you not learnt anything?" I asked making her sigh
"Why do you have to make this so dramatic. It's not going to be like that" She warned me 

But that was not a promise she could make nor is it one she could keep either 

"You need to make a choice Riley, us or him" I said making Riley look at me a little taken back, she turned to look at James before her eyes landed on us again making me scoff

"Don't fucking bother. Don't come crying to us when this doesn't work out" I spat turning to walk away from everyone and sure enough Michelle followed 

But I'm pretty sure the only reason Eldon followed was because Michelle dragged him..
Had we really just lost Riley to them.
