Mixed Feelings

We walked into dance the following day and it felt strange. Well that would be the understatement of the century 
James, Hunter and Eldon were still at the hospital with Riley
Leaving West, Giselle, Beth and I to stress over the fact we were in the same room as him right now 

"How didn't we notice" Giselle muttered, she'd been slightly taken back after seeing the blood by her bed which in turn meant she stayed with West last night
They might not be officially together but he is always there when she needs him

"Why the fuck does he look so smug" West said clearly getting wound up by Marcus' rapport

"Alright gang. As we know we are down 4 students today and until we have the all clear, there will be no practice" Jessica said
"what has happened was unexpected and also very close to home for a lot of you. My office door is always open no matter the reason, whether you have some knowledge on what happened or if you just need to talk about it all" She continued

"the Studio rooms will be open to anyone who wants to use them but as for group. It's cancelled until further notice" She said before nodding turning on her heel walking away 

I turned to everyone else who had the same look on her face
If Dance wasn't a thing then there is only one other place we'd want to be..

As soon as we walked into the hospital, we found both Eldon and Hunter asleep in a pair of seats making our hearts sink a little more 
"Hey" I said making Eldon quickly stir from his seat before offering me a smile, he slapped Hunter making him jolt awake before he looked at us

"What's going on?" Hunter asked looking at all of us
"Jessica cancelled Dance for a while so we figured you boys wouldn't mind some company" West said offering them both a smile 

I glanced over at the door where I could see James talking to a Doctor, from the looks of him, he hadn't slept at all last night

"How's James holding up?" I asked but both sighed shaking their head
"He's traumatized" Eldon said making me sigh 

I remember everyone telling me about the last time this happened. Hunter was mute for almost a month. He wouldn't leave Riley's side
Eldon was very similar although he gave her a little breathing room but still needed to know what she was doing

"Hey guys" James said coming over, I offered him a smile before giving him a small hug
"how is she doing?" I asked but he shook his head
"She still hasn't woken up. The Doctors said the medication would have worn off by now so they don't know why she hasn't woken" He said making my heart ache again 

"She'll get through this" Beth said offering everyone a warm smile
"She has more self assurance then you think" She continued 

James sighed looking down at his hands again before nodding
"I'm going to head back in but I'll let you know if anything changes" He muttered leaving before we had the chance to say anything else

I glanced over at Hunter and Eldon who both had the same defeated expression on their face
These boys were struggling too and I don't think any of them are really realising that themselves
I love Riley with my whole heart and we all need her to get better

But I don't think anyone needs it more then these boys do right now..

"Are you two okay?" Giselle asked making both boys look up and nod with their usual brave faces on
"Are you sure because those faces are saying another story" West said making both boys nod

"We'll be alright" They both said at the exact same time
