Everyone was off doing their own thing while I stood on the rooftop pacing from one side to the other. It was now dark out and I had no idea where James was 
I had seen plenty of people get to his boiling point but I don't know, I didn't think James would ever get to that point

"Hey" His voice said making my body do a complete 180, James' body language was something that I'd seen too many times with others
He was scared
Scared of himself 
Scared of hurting me
Scared of doing something he'd regret

"Hey" I replied with the same tone before stepping forward, the closer I got the faster James opened his arms before completely smothering me into a hug
One I think we both needed right now

"I didn't mean to hurt you" He whispered placing his head on top of mine 
"you didn't, I was just shocked" I replied making him sigh

"I promise I'm not that person anymore, I swear it" He said, his voice breaking slightly 
"Hey, look at me" I said cupping his cheek, he closed his eyes before slowly looking at me, his deep brown eyes having this new side of fear in them
"I know you aren't that person James" I whispered before leaning forward to press my lips against his 

"If you were that person, I don't think you would have made it past Hunter having you against a wall, made it past watching my Dad drill his toxic skills into me, made it past Marcus making Hunter hit me" I explained
"That is how I know you aren't that person" I smiled stroking his cheek
"You're James, my James" I whispered making him smile softly before crashing our lips together in a sweet kiss

After everything had settled and James had calmed down, we both decided to go and meet the guys in the common room, the only downside to this was for some reason Marcus was there too. But he seemed to actually have a friend of two around him
That's a new development 

"If it isn't our favourite couple" Beth teased, recently she seems to have turned over a new leaf and as long as it lasts. I think our problems will be nothing but the past 

"Are we all good now?" Hunter asked smirking at James and I, James rolled his eyes at him before nodding 
Only then did Hunter raise his first for a fist bump

That Ladies and Gentlemen in a big step for Hunter 

James and I took a seat on the sofa before he happily wrapped his arm around me pressing his lips against my cheek making me turn to look at him to see a grin on his face
"What was that for?" I asked making him chuckle

He leant on closer to my ear to the point I could feel his breath on my neck
"just because I love you" He whispered making me bit my lip smiling at him

"Alright Jiley, save that for the bedroom please West teased making my cheeks heat up while James had his signature smirk on his face 
"So now that everyone is on good terms" Eldon laughed
"Are we ready to wipe the floor with the competition this year?" Eldon asked

"We did that anyway" Michelle said confidently making me laugh as I pointed to her
"Yeah but this time the competition are apart of our team. It's a whole new dynamic" Hunter said

I won't lie I had never thought of it like that, this time last year. We were preparing for competition season and these guys were just that
Another team we were against

"It's going to be weird not having to worry about our biggest competition now" West teased making Michelle and I roll our eyes

"You lot were intimidating as hell" James said making me and Michelle share a look
"Can we rephrase please" I laughed earning looks from everyone
"The boys were intimidating. Mich and I did nothing" I said making them all laugh

"We were just innocent bystanders" Michelle said crossing her arms only making the pair of us burst out laughing
