As much as I love Music and Dance. It doesn't really leave me with much time outside of this place. Tonight was Piper's birthday party and I was already almost 30 minutes late, to say she was going to kill me would be an understatement..
"What's up?" Riley smiled as I burst through her door "How fast can you get ready?" I asked breathless only making her laugh "What for?" Riley asked "It's Piper's birthday and we have to be there like now?" I questioned "We?" Riley asked making me nod
"So in other words, your late and are going to use me to sweeten the blow?" She asked making me nod Riley rolled her eyes getting off the bed meaning I could go and get myself situated before returning to meet her
Sure enough, the moment I opened the door Riley stood there fully dressed and ready to go. She'd seen my family on several occasions since the first time she met them. It's safe to say she's been more then welcomed and she's even started to feel comfortable around them all And honestly, I've never seen my family react like this to someone

"Riley!" Pipe squealed as we walked into my parents house "I didn't know you were coming" Piper said as she pulled Riley into a tight hug I mean regardless on my tardiness, I would have invited Riley anyway. I don't think my parents would even let me show up with out her at this point
The three of us walked through the house until we came to the garden where the rest of the family sat, the all looked up turning towards us with smiles all over their faces "Riley!" Mum said "I'm clearly just chopped liver now a days" I muttered making Riley roll her eyes with a smile on her face as we joined the older generation on the patio furniture
"How is school kids?" Dad asked as we sat down "We've qualified for competition season" I smiled "Careful Riley, that school are lethal when it comes to competing" Dad teased
"Dad, Riley's old school was James' biggest competition. It's why they never won" Piper said filling Dad in making him smirk in our direction
"In that case, I retract my statement" He chuckled "James, you're in trouble" Dad added pointing at me as I rolled my eyes I mean.. he was not wrong
The evening started to draw to a close and everyone was still having their own little discussions here and there. Piper and Pops were messing around dancing around the garden while Dad and Mum were on their 4th glass of wine
"Hey" Riley smile coming to join me again, I smiled wrapping my arm around her placing a soft kiss on the top of her head "Hey" I replied "Come with me?" I offered making her look at me confused, she shrugged as I took a hold of her hand guiding her through the house
We got to my old room, it looked exactly how I left it, which shocks me seeing as Mum tends to like to come in here and meddle "you've never shown me this room" Riley chuckled looking around. She came across the dressed were a bunch of photos were laid
