~Jinx First date headcanons~

Just a little fluff filler while i finish up part 3 (possibly finale) of the arrested reader x caitvi <3 therefore there is no vi or caitlyn in this headcanons because i got so caught up with jinx because it was just so cute to write. hope you enjoy !!

BEGIN

Jinx
-Jinx was always not so subtle about her crush on you
-so while u were still a bit flushed when she asked you out it wasn't actually that much of a surprise
-she had written you one of the cutest letters you had ever seen, complete with little drawing and at the bottom it read "will you go out with me?" with a check box for yes or no
-you of course checked yes because hello? who wouldn't?

-when she received the letter back with your answer she nearly screamed with relief and excitement
-she said it was a surprise where she was taking you
-she spent the whole day freaking out and jumping around with anticipation for your date

-you had taken 2 hours to get ready
-because what does one wear on a first date with the gorgeous daughter of the ruler of the undercity?
-especially when you don't even have a clue where you're going
-do you dress classy,casual,fancy?
-you especially didn't know how flirty to dress because you weren't even sure how you wanted the date to end
-what if she doesn't want to kiss you
-what if she decides she doesn't want anything more after the date?

-meanwhile Silco was getting an earful of worries much like yours from Jinx
-"You don't get it! You've never asked anyone out and i'm sure no one has ever asked you, I would know"
-he was a bit hurt by that but let her continue
-him and Sevika were forced into becoming the judges for her outfit choices
-everytime Sevika liked an outfit Jinx suddenly hated it

-finally the time came
-when she picked you up you had both gasped at the sight of eachother
-she had complimented you so easily you almost envied her confidence
-wishing you could tell her how amazing she looked
-you wanted to kiss her so bad but you figured that's more of an after date thing right?

-oh god, now you had to worry about how you were going to kiss her
-it should definitely be after the date, you decided
-but where?
-should it be before you leave?
-when you get there?
-you had no clue
-should you kiss her on her cheek before your goodbye
-or no, maybe a forehead kiss. definitely
-you had never been so worried about something so simple
-you and Jinx has never gone farther than close hugs, that she always initiated because of her clingy behavior
-not that you minded, though she was always so cold that you would gasp whenever she touched you
-she'd always apologize before nuzzling farther into your neck to "get warm"

-you were snapped back to reality when she took your hand and walked you to the bridge between piltover and zaun
-she had tried to keep it a surprise as long as she could
-she had even attempted to cover your eyes while you walked which was quickly shut down because of the amount of danger that could come at any chance
- "y'know I would protect you anyways toots, but if you say so."

-turns out she had planned a picnic for you two right on the bridge so you could watch the fireworks from the topside
-she didn't actually cook the food though
-she forced one of Silcos goons to make it instead but she would never admit that
-the poor guy was being critiqued on everything he did in the kitchen
-not her fault she wanted the meal to be perfect for you

-the night ended with her walking you back to your place
-it had started to rain so she wrapped her jacket around you while you finished walking the last 2 blocks
-when you got to your doorstep you had the cliche "I had a lot of fun tonight" talk
-you were so close to inviting her in
-although her with her hair down, and water droplets running down her face was a stunning look, you didn't want her to catch a cold
- "Uh, if you want you can come i—"
-before you could finish she had grabbed you by the collar of the jacket and kissed you
-You could've sworn you nearly felt the rain turn to steam from how heatedly you both were blushing
-turns out you didn't have to worry about how you were going to initiate the kiss at all.
-your hands found your way to her damp hair as you pulled her closer deepening the kiss
-you felt her smile against your lips which made you so giddy you couldn't help but smile against her as well.
-when you pulled away you tried to fix her wet and messy hair but she only giggled resting her cold hands on your face attempting to wipe the rain from it

-now you were even more tempted to invite her in but she refused
-she said Silco would worry if she stayed out any longer, and that your bed probably couldn't even fit you both anyway
-your cheeks immediately heated at the implication that she thought you were going to sleep together
-which you were not unfortunately
-you just wanted to get her out of the rain and maybeee follow up on the kiss
-but she had wanted to save that for another time, and said she didn't want to overstep on the first date

-she walked away after leaving a big smooch on your cheek and twirling your hair before making her way back to the last drop
-you walk up your stairs to the porch still watching her leave
-right when you got into the building and reality came back to you, you realized you still had her jacket on
-you nearly ran back out to give it back to her but the door was already closed
-and when you went to reach for the doorknob you were stopped by the chiming of a text message
- "I'll get it back on our next date sunshine ;)"

I have no clue when the oneshot will be out, hopefully later tonight but there's just so much i want to cover but i really don't want to have to do 4 parts, if I do then I might just make it it's own story if y'all want.But I'm back!!
