"Thank you again for cooking lunch, that's really nice." I gave Jeonghan a small smile when I saw him sitting down. I stood there with my apron as I put the food down on the table. - "I was the dishes aftwards since you cooked."
I took a seat infront of him and we started digging in the food. He once in a while hummed. It was weird, I never imagined myself after he..said that at his place that we would sit infront of each other as kind of..friends I believe.
"Joshua, can I ask you something personal?" I nodded, grabbing the meat in between my chopsticks. - "The day at my place..I'm sorry I said that. I was just scared that I will hurt you and I did. Did you actually tried..talking?"
Now that he questioned it, I think I wanted to talk. "Your voice sounded very soft and loving from what I at least heard. Can we do this again?"
"W-what?" I started fanning myself as I felt hot. What did he meant? D-do it again like that one day where we ki-kissed?!
He put the food down after he chocked on it. While he rushed to get water, I started playing with the thoughts why I act like that. I cooked for him, I wait for him, I join him at the shelter. - I've never done it before..
All of these things..I never could cook for anyone, I was never at an animal shelter before and I never actually waited outside for someone. Wasn't it weird, why would I do it?
"N-no not that! I meant today! Can we do the thing's we did today, like again?" I breathed out, hand placed on my chest so calm myself down. - "Even tho..I wouldn't mind what you thought was meant.." He whispered the second part and I threw at him my apron.
Suddenly, he let out giggles as he pointed at me. "Do I look funny? Did I make myself look like a fool again?.. What did I do wro-"
"You look so adorable in that pink shade. I really can't keep my smile to myself." He continued laughing what confused me.
A compliment? Or is he just joking? Did he actually think I'm adorable?
"Hey Joshua!" A knock was heard afterwards. "We need to talk!" - Vernon stood infront of my door so I pushed Jeonghan into my room, not closing it. Just in case, Vernon gets mad he's here..
Jeonghan simply nodded and I opened my door. He gave me a hug. "After school, you were gone so fast. I just got home man." He bumped into me, staying at the entrance hall.
"Look, friend's saw you with that Jeonghan dude. I told you don't get into his hand's. Maybe he was nice again but he hurted you in no time. He's not good for you." - I took out my phone, writing down that it's fine but he looked even more mad.
"That fucker made you cry the whole weekend and more! I don't let him get near you anymore. You are too important to me."
"Well, sorry but he's important to me too." Jeonghan said in such a deep and painful voice.
