Kagari was lying down in his bedroom thinking about his life.
Meanwhile, Akeno was standing outside of his bedroom door, thinking to herself about what she was going to say to him.

When they met for the first time, Akeno was very cold and toxic to Kagari due to her hatred of fallen angels and him for being a fallen angel. To her, all fallen angels were bad. That fact that she was a fallen angel was the reason why her mother died protecting her. She was hunted down for the fallen angel blood in her veins.

Her hatred ran deep, especially towards her father. She wanted nothing to do with him and she despised him with every fiber of her being. Which is why she was happy to accept Rias's offer to become a devil. To her, it was an escape. But, she became a half devil, half fallen angel. Her pain didn't go away, it hurt to the point where being around devils was her way of copping and whenever she was reminded of her heritage. It made her depressed.
So depressed it put her to the point where she didn't mind taking her own life....
But then, she met Kagari and even though she pushed him away numerous times, he still wanted to help her. Not that he wanted anything in return. He hated it when another Fallen Angel was in pain. It reminded him of when his mother told him of the countless amounts of Fallen Angels who were killed in the three faction war. The only thing he wanted from Akeno was for her to not hate her Fallen Angel half because despite her being a devil hybrid, she was still Fallen Angel through and through.
