Charlie awoke the next morning, moving to sit up cross-legged, nervously gnawing at the tip of his thumb. Nick turned, taking his thumb out of his mouth, replacing it with his comfort item, a pacifier "No biting." He demanded, grabbing Charlie's hand, pulling him to sit between his legs. Charlie climbed between his legs, leaning his head on his chest "I love you." Charlie mumbled, taking his pacifier out of his mouth, looking up at Nick. Nick leaned down and kissed him "Does that mean that you love me too?" "Of course, bean." He cooed, ruffling Charlie's curls before kissing his nose softly with a smile.
Nick held him, turning him around slowly to pull him closer into his chest. Charlie crawled into his lap; he captured Charlie's lips in a slow deep kiss. The brunette opened his mouth with a small sigh, accepting Nick's tongue and replying with soft touches from his own. Nick deepened the kiss, pressing his lips harder against Charlie's as he gripped him tighter, holding him close and secure. Greedily he swallowed down the quiet moans that poured from him as he remained placid in Nick's embrace.
Breaking the kiss Nick looked at Charlie's flushed face, his almost innocent expression a lie. Smiling he lifted a hand and ran it through Charlie's soft locks, twirling the longer fringe around a finger as he gazed at Nick "What's the matter?" He shrugged "Darling, what's wrong?" "Nothing." "Did I hurt you?" He remained not saying anything "Yes or no?" He still looked at him "Charlie, did I or did I not hurt you?" He slowly looked up at him before tucking his knees into his chest, slowly nodding "I'm so sorry." "It's okay, just don't do it again next time because my mouth really hurts." Nick pulled him into his side as he laid his head on his lap. The blonde stroked his hair slowly as he looked up "I want another kiss but a gentle one." Nick leaned down and pressed a kiss against his lips. He pulled away, placing his forehead against the other's "Was that okay?" "Perfect." Charlie leaned up and pecked him on the mouth.
Nick stroked his face "I was thinking if we can go out today." "Of course, where?" "Anywhere." "Is Herne Bay fine?" "The beach where we had our first proper date without Elle, Tao, Darcy, and Tara." "Yeah. That sounds good, want to recreate that?" "I'd love to." Charlie got up, sitting properly on Nick's lap, legs wrapped around his waist. Nick got up with Charlie in his arms "How about we go and have a shower and get dressed?" "No." "What?" "I want to shower when we get back." "Of course we can, why don't I have a shower and I'll be like 10 minutes." "I might have breakfast when your in the shower, so I don't faint again like last night." "That scared me." He nodded.
The blonde placed his boyfriend down on the floor as he walked downstairs until panic grew in his stomach as he felt his hands start to shake and his throat began to tighten up. Tori came downstairs "Charlie?" She looked down to see her younger brother sitting on the floor, knees tucked into his chest, breathing heavily "Hey, hey, hey, it's okay. I'm here." She knelt down, sitting beside him as he quickly moved away from her, head still resting on his knees. Tori ran upstairs, opening Charlie's door where Nick was, getting his clothes ready for a shower "Tori, what's up?" "It's Charlie." Nick put his stuff down, making his way downstairs, kneeling down beside Charlie, sitting on the floor with him as he quickly climbed into his lap, and rest his head on his chest "I-I can't-" "Take it easy, you're safe, I'm here sweetheart." Tears streamed down the brunette's cheeks as he tried to suck in as much air as he could "Copy my breathing okay? Look at me, love." Nick cupped his face.
Charlie looked at Nick and copied his slow breathing. After a few minutes, his breathing became more normal but the tears didn't stop "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen," "Stop apologising, baby. You have nothing to apologise for, you're here and you're safe and that's all that matters for now." Nick held him tight, slowly rubbing his back. They stay in the kitchen for a few minutes, the brunette feeling safe in his arms "Are you sure you want to go out today?" "I've changed my mind, I don't want to," "It's alright, we don't have to." Charlie tried getting up but his legs collapsed beneath him as he's so weak "Woah, easy." He caught him and instantly but carefully picked him up in a bridal position before heading towards the stairs and upstairs to bed.
