Esme awoke the next morning curled up around nothing but a blanket, she got up and her head got dizzy. Charlie came in, running his hand along Esme's back "Good morning." "Good morning, have you still got cramps or not as bad?" "Not as bad, I'll go in and see how I feel." "Alright, my love." Esme soon got dressed and made her way downstairs "Your wearing tights and a skirt?" "Yeah," "Have you got towels on you?" "Yeah, there's also some in the sixth form common room in one of the drawers as well." "That's good." "It is." The two got their bags sorted and met up in the car.
10 minutes later, they both arrived at Truham and got out, walking in hand in hand. Esme walked over to her set of friends only to be pulled into hugs by Imogen and some of the nicer rugby boys as Harry approached her "Esme Nelson." "Harry Greene, lovely to see you too." "We've got assembly in about 20 minutes." "In the hall?" "Yeah with us and year 11." "Okay, do we have to sit in our form groups?" "We do, see you there." "You too." The blonde walked off, walking over to Charlie, placing her hand on his arm "Hey, are you okay?" "Yeah, we've got assembly in about 20 minutes." "Great," "I know, I don't want to go." "We have to, how's your stomach?" "It's a bit better, less sore." "That's good, do you want to sit in the music rooms?" "Sure." The two walked inside and upstairs to the music department, walking into a practice room.
Esme laid down her jacket, sitting on it, opening her arms. Charlie sat between his girlfriend's legs, lying his head on her chest "I needed this, I've got an English GCSE straight after this." "Literature or Language?" "Language." "I know you'll do great," "Thank you." "It's alright, if you come out crying or upset, I'll be here." "Thank you, baby." "It's okay."
Soon the bell rang for tutor but assembly for the two year groups. The two made their way downstairs, waiting in their tutor lines outside in the playground in the cage. Charlie came up to her girlfriend, pressing a kiss to her hair "Sorry, I was talking to Tao and Isaac about something." "It's okay, stressed?" "A bit." "Come here." Charlie fell into Esme's arms. Esme caught him, holding him, cupping his face once the brunette stood up. Charlie was on the verge of tears and leaned down, pulling Esme into their sweetest kiss they shared, their lips pressing against one another. They pulled away "What is that on your lips?" "Lip gloss, so?" "What flavour is that?" "Watermelon." "Wait, come back here." Esme walked over, placing her arms around her fiancé's neck "Give me your hand, it'll be easier." "Okay." Charlie slid off his engagement ring, sliding it on the blonde's finger "You shouldn't be proposing to me, I should be, by the way, Harry was staring at your arse." "I don't care, your the only one who can look at me." "Very true." Esme couldn't take her eyes off of Charlie and she allowed herself to relax.
An hour and 45 minutes later, the brunette came out of his exam where Esme was waiting with his phone "How was it?" She asked. Charlie ran into her arms "So it was bad?" He nodded "You poor thing, this is my free period and your break so what do you want to do?" "Can we sit where we sat this morning?" "Of course." The blonde got her jacket out of her locker, walking upstairs with Charlie, opening the practice room door, laying her jacket down, sitting down, opening her legs. Charlie sat between them, moving to lie his head on his fiancé's stomach. Esme played with his hair as he looked up. Esme leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to his lips "I love you," "I love you too." Charlie responded immediately, really meaning it from how upset he was and felt Esme move a bit "Are you okay?" "Shit, no." "Cramps?" "Yeah, ow." A black tear ran down her face from the mascara she had on, trying to hold back tears.
Once Esme's free period had finished, she was sent home from the pain which resented in her being sick on her way out of the common room and now Sarah was driving her home "Are you okay sweetheart?" "Yeah, I still feel sick." "Your still feeling sick?" "It's just sitting there not wanting to come up." "Did you have breakfast this morning?" "I did, can you drive me back to mine please?" "Of course, that's where I'm heading." Sarah pulled up in her daughter's driveway, pulling up "There we are sweetheart." "Thank you mum, I'll call if I need anything." "Alright, get better soon." Esme closed the front door behind her, walking upstairs and got changed out of uniform to a white long sleeved top and black leggings.
