Nick awoke the next morning, arms wrapped tightly around Charlie who was still asleep, sleeping soundly in his arms. He waited a few minutes as Charlie started to stir, moving a little, nuzzling his nose in his chest before going back to sleep "You're so adorable." Charlie smiled softly and rushed up to wrap his arms securely around the other male's middle. Nick held onto Charlie's back as he looked down at him, pressing a kiss to his head as Charlie's eyes opened slowly, sitting up, rubbing his eyes "You stay in bed a little longer," "Why?" "Do you want a cup of tea?" "I'd love one, thank you." He smiled. Nick laid him back down, pressing a soft lingering kiss to his forehead.
Nick walked out of the room, walking into the kitchen, turning on the kettle, walking to the door, unlocking it as Charlie came out, wrapping his arms around Nick's waist, scaring him "Good morning," "Morning." Charlie wriggled under Nick's arms, grabbing the blanket out of the car, laying it out, sitting on it. Nick came out with the two cups of teas, sitting next to him "Have you been here before?" "When I was around 13 with my mum, dad, Tori and Oliver but I booked it for us as you were ill throughout our entire honeymoon, I wanted to treat you." "I had food poisoning and the flu," "You did, and I had to look after you when we were on the plane." "I know!" Nick leaned into Charlie with a smile. Charlie put his mug down, standing up, cupping Nick's face, pressing a soft kiss to his lips, walking back inside. Nick followed him inside "I think I might apply to be a primary school teacher," "It'll suit you, what year?" "Tiny humans." "So year 1's or reception?" "Reception." "So pupils aged between four and five?" "Yeah."
3 weeks later, the two got back and the blonde was walking to the local primary school around 8am, he buzzed at the gate waiting for entry. Once it unlocked, he pushed open the gate, walking in "Nick?" "Hello." "So you sent us an email letting us know that you wanted to become a Reception teacher?" "Yeah." "We actually have a spot available, are you able to start today?" "I am." "What have you done in college?" "Childcare," "What grade did you get?" "Over 90." "Great, do you have access to a computer at home?" "I do, a MacBook." "Would you like to meet your students?" "Sure." The receptionist came around, opening the door. The blonde walked in the building "You were my teacher, Miss Hall?" "Mrs Wood now, I got married." "No way." The two talked while walking down the school, across the lunch hall where there were children in the hall, having breakfast. The two kept walking a bit more until they got there.
Nick's old teacher introduced him to the young children who ran over to him from sitting on the carpet. Nick knelt down. A blonde child came over "Are you our new teacher?" "I am." He smiled. The substitute teacher smiled, walking over "Would you mind staying here quickly while I grab my laptop and my bag?" "Of course not." The blonde walked out. He got back home, opening the door "Did you get it?" "I did." Charlie walked over to him "Would you do me a favour while I use the toilet?" "Sure, what do you need?" "My laptop, can you put it in my bag for me?" "What bag?" "My pink one." "With the 3 colour bubble tea one?" "Yeah that one." Nick walked across the hall to the bathroom. Once he used the bathroom, he clipped his jumpsuit back up, where Charlie had his bag ready "I put your pride lanyard in there too." "Thank you, I'll see you around 3pm." "You too." He pecked him on the lips with a smile, walking back downstairs.
He got back to school where his card was ready, he grabbed his lanyard from the front pocket "Is this okay?" "It's alright, you used to be one my students and now one of my teachers, so it's fine." He clipped it together with a smile, unlocking the door with a smile, walking to his classroom where the children were sitting on the floor comfortable. He sat down at the desk, plugging his laptop in with it's charger "How about we all go around and I can get to know you all? If I tap you on the head, I would like you to tell me your name and one fact about yourself, so I'll go first, my name is Mr Nelson, but you can call me Nick and I like drawing." He tapped a student on the head "Teddy and playing with my daddy." He kept going round as he got to the last student, tapping their head "Jack, and playing with my dog." He smiled, walking back to the front, sitting on the table, crossing his legs.
