Plot;
So, Y/n is being trained by Macaque and Mk is Y/n's best friend. One day Mk invites Y/n to see Monkey King, Y/n remembers all Macaque told her about monkey king and tries to be away from him. Long story short, Wukong and Y/n end up fighting.

Y/n crouched down onto the buildings edge, she looked up at the bright moon. The moon was full tonight, it was pretty nice outside.

The breeze barely touched her, it wasn't too cold tonight luckily. It was perfect. A frown cast over her face as Macaque's words echoed inside her head.

'I'll be gone for a while. You can practice until I'm back.' Y/n scoffed, she couldn't believe Macaque just left her like that without any explanation, he just refused to tell her where he was going.

It's been a few days anyway, he would be coming back very soon, possibly tomorrow.

She didn't know how she could possibly learn anything without him, she sighed to herself. She couldn't really help it anyway.

Her body stood still near the edge, looking down at the peaceful city. There didn't seem to be any people around as expected, in the end who would be awake in the middle of the night?

"Y/n!" Y/n nearly jumped at the sound of someone calling her name, she was about to fall off the edge but she gripped her hands down and steadied herself, she sighed out in relief. That was close.

She quickly turned around, ready to attack her opponent. She immediately froze in her place when she spotted Mk who was for some reason up this late.

What time was it anyway? Like 1am?

"Whoa." Y/n couldn't help but be amazed, how did he get up here?

"What are you doing this late at night? You're supposed to be sleeping." Y/n glared at him, Mk would get really tired and end up falling asleep, he was never up THIS late.

Mk smiled at her, he looked pretty happy to see her. "I know but I wanted to see you! We didn't see each other for A WHOLE WEEK!" Mk exclaimed, Y/n gave him a frown.

She supposed that was a long time, since they were best friends and all.

Best friends should stick together, right? But this man really had a wish to ruin his sleep schedule over it, which wasn't really worth it.

"Yeah but I'm kinda busy." Y/n said, she looked away from him and continued watching the city.

"With what?" Mk leaned in beside her and peered out too, Y/n just hopes he wouldn't fall. She knew he was not stupid ... Okay maybe he was a little stupid but she really didn't want to see him get hurt.

"... With keeping the city safe and all." Y/n said, she wasn't sure where Macaque went and why but she was sure he wasn't looking out for the citizens, he didn't care about them all that much. He never really liked her looking out for the city and it's people during the night.

Either way, she couldn't stand not to wander around at night, if she just stayed home and did nothing she would've never stopped some horrible things from happening.

"But Y/n we need to hang out!" Mk whined, Y/n hummed. They didn't hang out in a while now, perhaps he was right.

"Besides you missed out a lot!" Mk said, Y/n couldn't help but smile at that. "Like what?" She cast him a amused look.

"I'm actually Monkey King's successor now." Mk said, he seemed very proud. Y/n widened her eyes in surprise, her body froze in place.

Monkey King? As in Sun Wukong?
