I got up and drove to Elizabeth's house, yesterday she asked if I wanted to eat breakfast with them, and of course I said yes.
I knocked on the door and as usual jack opened the door "great, you're here.." he said rolling his eyes "jack, that's not nice!" Elizabeth said sternly "what do you want me to say?!" He yelled back to his mom "Elizabeth, it's okay" I said smiling "no, jack. Go to your room!" And with that He stormed of and to his room "god, his so hard to deal with" she said scoffing "may I ask why he's acting like that"
"their father died two years ago, Oliver was just a baby but jack had to deal with it. He didn't really deal with it, he's always getting himself in trouble" she said upset "I get it, I lost my mom when I was nine, she died in a fire" I said trying not to get upset "your father?" "He got so depressed after her death so he gave me up, he kinda just handed me over to my aunt. I got no contact with him today, and my aunt died last year" I said sadly "oh gosh, your basically alone?" She said dropping a tear "I manage" I said chuckling "your not alone now tho, you got us" she said making Oliver laugh "y/n, can we play soccer?" He asked "of course, if you eat up" I said making Elizabeth look proud
I got to jacks room and he had been crying "jack, can I talk to you?" I asked "what?!" He said pushing me "I know your sad-" "you don't know a shit!" "But I kinda do, I lost my mom when I was nine, and I know that your grieving.. I can't say that it will be better, you will always miss him, but you always have the memories, the good and the bad. And in the end you manage to continue life" I said, he started tearing up
"I just miss him so much" he said crying "it's okay, I know.. jack, your the man of the house now, your mom need you. Thrust me shes also grieving and she will always love your dad. No one can take his place, he is the love of her life and he is your and Oliver's father" "did you forget your mom?" He asked "no never, I always remember her birthday and I always go to the graveyard when it's Mother's Day, you see. It's the small things that you'll remember, like when you ride a bike, my mom thought me and whenever I ride a bike I think about her" I said smiling
After the talk with jack we both went downstairs to Elizabeth and Oliver "soccer!!!" He yelled jumping up to me "okay, do you want to join jack?" I asked "of course!" He said smiling, Elizabeth looked shocked and smiled To me, I shrugged. ———- "Come on! That's cheating" I whined while Oliver scored "let's go!" Jack said lifting his baby brother up and celebrated "judge, cheating!" I whined again "stop being such a baby, they're just much more pro than you" Elizabeth said smirking "that's no fair" I said faking a offended look "y/n look!" Jack said kicking the ball, it went straight in my nuts. I fell to the ground and tried to breath, Elizabeth started laughing before walking over to me "are you okay?" "No, it hit me right in the nuts" I said making her realise "come let's get you some ice, jack take Oliver inside and play with him on his room" she said laughing "ouch" I said walking to the living room, she came in with a bag of ice
I took it and she just looked at me "you have really nice eyes" I said making her blush a little "so do you, I love blue eyes" she said smiling

"Mom!" We heard jack yell "that seems bad" I said worried, she ran upstairs and yelled "y/n!" I ran upstairs and to the balcony, I looked up and saw Oliver on the roof, how did he- I'm not going to ask "we need to get him down!" She said panicking "jack go get the ladder!" "There won't be time" I said, I jumped up and got a hold so I could climb up, Oliver started running to the edge of the roof. I ran after him, he jumped but I took him right before he fell "Jesus" I whispered relived, I carried him to were Lizzie stood on the balcony, I carefully gave him to Lizzie. When I was going to get down myself I got my sweater stuck and to get down I had to take it off
I jumped down in just a freaking sports bra "do you need a sweater?" She asked "I have one in my car" I smiled "okay, thank you y/n, you are something special" she said making me laugh "so are you Olsen, so are you"
I got to my car, I decided to leave since jack had some explaining to do on how Oliver got to the roof
I drove home and took Charlie out for a walk
I laid in bed thinking about Elizabeth, I've known her for so short but I still feel like we've been friends for ten years
