Bar meeting

I woke up, went out with Charlie and drove to Elizabeth's house, I knocked on the door and jack opened the door "hey y/n" he said giving me a small smile "your mom?" I asked "she's in bed" he said sadly

I walked upstairs to her bedroom "Elizabeth?" I said entering the room, she's crying "oh Elizabeth" I said sitting down next to her, she immediately hugged Me, I held her tight and I don't want to let go.. ever

She looked at me "he died on this day, god I miss him so much" she cried "I get it" I said trying to comfort her "I can't have you here today y/n, I'm sorry it's just that-" "don't apologise, I'll go" I said smiling, I walked downstairs and out to my car. Today is not a good day, I get it

I drove of to my friends house "yo Tom, I'm off.. do you wanna hang out at a bar and getting wasted?" I asked "of course!" He yelled coming down "let's go" I said laughing

We got to a bar and I ordered a lot of shots, me and Tom quickly got rid of them and I already felt it. Tom wanted me to find somebody, he said that If I continue like this I'll live alone forever, meh. But it wouldn't hurt to try finding someone tho.

I walked over to a woman that had been staring at me "hi" she said sweetly "hey, how are you?" I asked "great, you?" "I'm great to! I'm y/n" "Brie!" She said smiling a gorgeous smile, me and brie talked for a while "can I get your number?" She asked "yeah, here" I said giving her my phone

I woke up with the worst hangover ever, I don't remember a shit

I got up and took Charlie on a walk, I got a couple of sunglasses before heading to work

I knocked and jack opened "hello" I said groggy "hey y/n" he laughed

I heard footsteps and saw Elizabeth walk down "oh hey y/n" I waved and walked to the kitchen "rough night or something?" She asked laughing "just a little hangover" she chuckled "did you meet someone?" She asked curios "I think I gave my number to someone" I said, her whole face changed "oh. Well that's great.."

I started my work and before I knew it I was done. It haven't even been two weeks

I told Elizabeth that I was done and she seemed sad "well it was nice having you here" she said smiling "what do you mean?" I asked "I just thought since your done-" "listen, I want to continue be with you guys, you are a important part of my life now" I said making her glow "really?" She asked "yes really, so stop with the foolish talk" I said laughing

When the kids had gotten to bed we decided to watch a movie, in the middle of the movie I got a text from Brie

Brie: is this y/n ?

Me: yup, hey Brie

Brie: what about a date tomorrow?

Me: sure! That seems nice!

Brie: great I'll send you the address and you can pick me up tomorrow at eight

Me: eight, you got it!

"Who are you texting?" "Someone named Brie" I said smiling "the girl you met?" She asked almost seeming jealous "uh yeah, we got a date tomorrow" and with that she turned of the tv "I need to sleep now, so do you. Rest up for the date" she said smiling a fake smile before Rushing upstairs

I walked confused to my car and took a last look at the house, what's on her mind? I saw her looking out the bedroom window, I want to know what bothers her but I think it's better if I keep a little distance she's in pain and I should not push her to tell me why she's acting like that.

I drove to my house and this time Charlie didn't come barking like he always do, he walked slowly to me "Charlie, what's wrong?" I asked crouching down to see him better, he started whining and I got really scared I can't lose my best friend in the whole world

I took him to the vet and now I'm sitting here waiting for her to come back with some bad news, it always happens to me

The vet came back to me "he's fine, he just had some stomach issues. If you feed him with this food for about a week he will be totally fine again" she smiled "thank you" I said waving her good bye and took Charlie with me home
