Ch 10. The Return

I've made my mind up on who I am pairing Yoichi with...but, I won't tell you who! That's a surprise!

Yoichi woke with a groan, his mind wincing against the bright lights of what appeared to be a hospital room. He had passed out, likely from using so much of One For All at once, on top of the pain of the arm break and Danger Sense which had been giving him the worst migraine he'd ever had.

Which was saying something considering how sick he had been in his former life. Thankfully it appeared he was feeling much better, likely due to Recovery Girl.

No one was in the room, so Yoichi sat up and looked around for something to entertain himself with. On the table next to him was a sketchpad and a book, a pencil was also placed next to the sketchpad. He smiled, it had been a while since he'd drawn...likely weeks before his death in his former life.

He picked the pencil up and grabbed the sketchpad, before just letting his instincts take over and draw for him. It was certainly not hard to let his mind drift while his hands were busy, so he did just that and sank into his mind.

"My Hero, sorry if I worried you..." Yoichi murmured as he appeared in the void, his body currently on autopilot mode.

Katsumi sighed and crossed the small distance to him, giving an unimpressed look.

"You seriously haven't learnt your lesson, even after you were killed." Katsumi said sounding conflicted." You got to stop throwing your life away, it was stupid of you to attack that Nomu like that."

Yoichi winced, his lover was clearly not happy with him, not the he blamed them. If Katsumi had done the same, he would have been furious. Perhaps he should remember to keep himself safe as well as others next time.

"Sorry..." Yoichi responded not meeting Katsumi's red eyes." I just did what I thought was right."

"Just cause it's right, doesn't mean you should do it." Katsumi mumbled, looking annoyed.

"Lay off him, Second!" Nana scolded coming over to float next to the Second user, who shot the Seventh user a glare." If you were that upset, then you wouldn't have been cheering inside the void when he went up against Shigaraki. Just because First didn't hear you, doesn't mean the rest of us didn't."

A faint blush appeared on the Second users ear tips, much to Yoichi's amusement. He hadn't realized Katsumi had been cheering for him, it was flattering. He shot the Second user a sly look, smirking.

"Aww, you were cheering, how sweet." Yoichi said with a chuckle, much to Katsumi's embarrassment.

"Shut up." Katsumi grumbled, looking like they was trying their hardest to stay angry with him. It was failing...dramatically.

En who had been waiting along with the other users walked up to him, giving Yoichi a small nod in greeting.

"I am glad my Quirk was able to assist you, that didn't look to be a good situation at all." En admitted with a wince.

"No it certainly wasn't a good situation." Yoichi confirmed with a sigh, the thing that bothered him the most was the Nomu itself.

He could have sworn that the Nomu had more then one Quirk, not only that but the blue haired Villains name suggested something Yoichi wasn't a fan of. The implications were not good at all, he would have to confirm with Toshinori. However he also had to let the other users know of the situation and what he noticed during the fight.
