Violet

I have no clue what I'm going to wear and it's driving me crazy.
It's Saturday and after the club yesterday, I couldn't stop thinking about my date with Kostas. I know where we're going, but he texted me about an hour ago to let me know he would be picking me up at 5:30 for our date and to send him my address.

I was going to meet him there but then I thought about the chance of me not being able to find parking. It's downtown and I know the area around the restaurant has high traffic.

I could've asked Aria for her driver to take me, but I know he only works Monday through Friday and they pay him extra if he were to drive then on the weekends. Aria only paid him extra yesterday because were were going to be out late.
With all of that in mind, I sent him my address.
Now I only have 5 hours to get ready.
As I was rummaging through my closet, I heard Aria come back. She burst into my room with a long black bag with a hanger inside. "Look what I got you!" She yelled excitedly.
"That's for me?" I was shocked, so that's where she's been all morning.
"I know how you are when it comes to dates, so I picked this up from Leona's shop. I had this made as a Christmas present but I figured it's perfect for this date." She told me. I swear I have the best friend. It was only October but we always started our shopping early and finished it off on Black Friday.
"You're too kind." I said holding my hand over my heart. She laughed at my theatrics. "Open it." She handed me the bag.
I unzipped it and immediately noticed the red material. I guess red is my color this weekend. The corset on the dress looked like it would snatch my waist and it was a soft silky material. It was also off the shoulder.

"Thank you so much, I swear I started hating every single outfit I had in my closet

"Thank you so much, I swear I started hating every single outfit I had in my closet." I told her.
I spent the next few hours getting ready because I kept messing up my brows. I think it was just my nerves. I did the same makeup look as yesterday.
After I put on my dress and my shoes, I put on the bracelet that we got at the auction. It was a thin diamond studded bracelet that matched the diamond earrings I got last year for Christmas. I also put on a cute diamond choker since a normal necklace wouldn't look right with this dress.

I heard a knock at the door. I rushed and grabbed my clutch and phone. By the time I made it to the door I saw Aria telling Kostas I was almost ready.
They looked up at me. He looked great. He was wearing a black suit with a black shirt underneath. His hair was pulled back and his watch and silver chain was on display. He looked sexy.

"I think red may be my new favorite color."
Kostas said as he looked me up and down.

I felt my face get hot and my heart speed up, but luckily you couldn't see my natural blush under my makeup and dark skin. Only the artificial blush I put on my cheeks.
"You look beautiful." He added. I thanked him and he took my hand in his and guided me out the door. I waved by to Aria on my way out. "Have fun kiddos!" She yelled down the hall and I groaned while Kostas laughed.

Aria and I were lucky enough to get an apartment on the first floor. It made taking groceries in so much easier. We were at his truck in no time where there was a driver waiting for us. Are drivers just a packaged deal when it comes to rich people?

His driver opened the door for us and I thanked him getting in. Aria and I have each other's location so I know she'll be looking out for me.

On the way there, Kostas put up the partition. "It's about a 30 minute drive, want anything to drink?" He asked. There were bottles alcohol in a cooler across from us. Those bottles just look expensive.

"No thanks." I told him with a smile.
"Not much of a drinker huh?" He asked.
"Yes and no, at least not the hard liquor." I told him. I don't see how people drink that bitter liquid.
"What do you normally drink." He asked me.
"I guess some wines and mimosas as long as it tastes good." I told him and he nodded.
"Good thing the restaurant we're going to serves exactly what you may like." He told me.
We pull up to the restaurant and Kostas helps me out of the car and puts his arm around my waist.

We walk in and he tells the hostess that we have a reservation for 6 o'clock and gives his last name. Her eyes widen. "Follow me." She said and lead us up an elegant stairwell. On the way there, I looked around the restaurant. It was very nice with high ceilings and the color scheme was black and gold. I noticed many people in fancy outfits dining in. As we walked up the stairs, I realized we were going to the rooftop. These are the most expensive tables at the restaurant.

She sat us down at a table with a nice view of the city. The rooftop is enclosed with large windows, so we're technically not outside in the cold. I'm thankful for that. You could see everything from up here. I never thought I would be dining here. She sets down two menus and leaves.

A waitress soon comes to the table and take our orders, we started off with drinks. Kostas recommended some Greek wine that was apparently very good. I went with his suggestion along with a glass of water. He also got a glass of water and some white wine. I looked at the drink menu to see what it was he ordered and my eyes almost fell out of their socket. 300 dollars a glass? What are they putting into this wine?

"What?" He asked laughing at my expression. I look up at him. "Did they use a random number generator for the prices or something?" I joked. He laughed again. "Don't worry about the prices Agapiménos." He told me. (Sweetheart)

"What language is that?" I asked him. Sometimes he says words in different languages in that divine accent.
"Greek, it was my first language." He replied with a smile. Oh so he's Greek?
Could he get any hotter?

"So what does that word mean? The one you just said?" I asked him. Could you imagine if he was calling me a dumbass this whole time?
"Sweetheart." He said. Why do I feel mushy inside now?
"Oh?" I said in question. I'm gonna fact check  that when I get home.

"Do you see anything you like?" He asked gesturing to the menu for the food items. I saw a meal with the number 150 next to it. Is that the price or the calories?

"What do you recommend?" I asked him. I don't think I've ever had Greek food before, with the exception of a Greek salad and yogurt, so I'll just take his word for it since he's most likely had some of these dishes.
"You should try the moussaka." He told me. And I nodded.

Before I could say anything, the waitress came back with a tray. On it was 2 empty wine glasses, 2 bottles of wine and 2 glasses of water.

She sets the tray down on the empty table behind her and gives us our water and wine glasses and fills them up with our choice of wine.
"Are you ready to order?" She asked with a notepad in her hand.

Kostas ordered us both the moussaka and a Greek salad on the side. I'm excited to try this because I haven't eaten all day. I spent too much time stressing about this date.

When she walks away, I pick up the wine glass and take a sip. Wow this actually tastes good. Probably because they had to make a sacrifice to the Greek Gods before preparing it. I can't think of another reason why this glass is 300 dollars and not even filled up halfway.

"It's sweet isn't it?" Kostas asked and I nodded.
"It's very good." I told him and he smiled.

So far this date was going very well, but there's still one thing I have to get off my chest.

"So, why did you want to have dinner with me?"
