Hey everyone. Sorry for the lack of regular chapters, mha just isn't giving us anything to work with in the manga sadly. And the WHM chapter is just taking forever to write. So in the meantime, I'll give you this to chew on while we all wait.

Ryuji's POV
Gasping for air, I roll over onto my back as I try to catch my breath.
"Takashi, get up and back to training. We don't have time for napping on the ground" Mr.Aizawa says
Today we're practicing hand to hand combat...which I have to do out of my suit...against an opponent...who's whole thing is martial arts.
"Yes...sir" I say as I catch my breath
"I can uh...I can go easier if you want me to, Takashi. I know you're not the most adjusted to fighting without your suit" Ojiro offers
"It's fine...Don't go easy on me, that'd just be rubbing salt in my wounds" I say
This happens every time we strength train in class. Whenever I'm paired up with someone, they always go easy on me and try to play it off as if they weren't. They do it because I'm quirkless and physically the weakest in the class, not counting Mineta that is. But he's 108cm so he doesn't really count nor makes me feel better about myself.
"Let's just get this over with" I think as I fully get back up
Later on that day...
"Takashi, can you take these down to Ectoplasm for me? I've gotta prep for next class" Cementoss asks me as I'm about to leave from turning in a project early
He holds out two stacked boxes and as I take them, I nearly fall as I didn't expect them to be this heavy.
"You okay there? I can ask someone else if you can't handle it" he asks
"I'm fine! I can take it!" I quickly respond
Leaving the classroom, I start trudging my way over to Ectoplasm's class.
"Takashi! You okay there?" I hear someone ask from behind me
I look and see Kirishima rushing over to me.
"I'm fine, Kirishima. I'm just taking these boxes over to Ectoplasm for Cementoss" I explain
"You need some help? You look like you're having a hard ti-" I cut him off
"I'm fine! I don't need help, I can handle a few boxes!" I say
I quickly rush off, now just trying to get to the classroom as fast as possible.
"Twice in one day, a new record" I sarcastically think
A one day later...
Walking down the street, I head over to the record shop to pick up a record that Jiro asked me to get for her while I was out.
"Kinda cool how she still buys records. Most people just listen to songs for free nowadays" I think as I make my way to the store
As I'm walking past an outdoor cafe, I'm able to overhear a certain conversation that nearly makes me stop in my tracks.
"Hey, isn't he that quirkless kid who's becoming a hero?" A person asks
"Oh yeah...it is. Honestly I think it's a combined publicity stunt from Takashi Industries and U.A. There's no way a quirkless person could actually be a hero" the other person says
