Ryuji POV
The next morning, we all get up and go to the meeting room where Frost is waiting for us.
"Glad you slowpokes could finally make it" he says
"Yeah yeah, just tell us the mission already" I say
"Someone's eager" Frost says
"Eager is a strong word" I say
"For your next mission, you all will be sent to Germany so you better do some studying. Starting with today, you all will have 4 days to prepare. You're mission is to fine and capture the leader of a worldwide terrorist organization" Frost says while pulling up a picture of the guy
"Worldwide, huh? Must be a pretty big organization" I say
"Pretty big is an understatement" Frost says
"Sir, doesn't that seem a bit too much for us to handle? I mean, it's us 6 first years against this huge organization" Logan says
"Come on now Logan! I'm never one to back down from a challenge!" Kris says
"This still seems like a job for the bigger heroes" Cap says
"Those "bigger heroes" have tried, and failed. Which is why we are sending you all. You're tasked to find out exactly where the leader is located and take them out quickly and efficiently" Frost says as he leaves
"Was that a compliment?" I think
"You heard the man, let's start training" Cap says
"Sorry Cap, but I've got work to do that I've been slacking on" I say
"Yeah, your training regimen is kinda slow so
I'm gonna be doing my own thing" Nadia says
"I apologize my friend, but I must agree" Kris says
"I'm gonna head to the shooting range" Logan says
"I see how it is..." Cap says
"Umm...I think your training regimen is good" Yami says
"Just go do your own thing Yami" Cap says
I leave and head back to my workshop and get back to work on my energy shield. I could have been basically done with it by now, but a lot has happened since the last time I worked on it.
"This thing is able to take small hits. Now I just need to test it against heavy hitters. Now who is something that can easily smash things to pieces?" I say to myself
I then remember probably one of the heaviest hitters I will ever know.
"This is gonna be very stupid, but it's for the sake of advancement" I say
I attach the prototype shield to my suit and I go and find Yami.
"Yami! Just the man I want to see" I say
"Oh, hello Ryuji. What can I do for you?" He asks
"Well you see, I need your help testing out a prototype of mine" I say
"Do you need me to run some numbers? I can do tha-" I cut him off
"I need you to hit me" I say
He looks at me for a second.
"What do you mean?" He asks
"Well, I don't need your help as much as I need Hulk's" I say
"Oh no. Sorry Ryuji but I can't help you" Yami says
