Hello everyone. I really felt like writing some more of Toru and Ryuji so that's what this chapter will be all about. This chapter will not retain to the plot at all so if you really want to you can skip this chapter if you're here for the plot. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter (:

Ryuji POV
Early morning comes and the doctor enters my room and sees that I'm awake.
"I hope that you two didn't do anything in this hospital bed" he says
"W-We didn't!" Toru exclaims
"You know damn well that we ain't old enough for that" I say
"Just need to make sure. People think that we don't know when something like that happens on these beds" the doctor says blandly
"L-Let's stop talking about this!" Toru pleads now embarrassed
"So doc, what was the damage?" I ask
"Well, you 2 broken ribs your spine was slightly fractured. I recommend that you don't expend yourself too much" the doctor explains
"No need to worry about me expending myself. Toru here is probably gonna force me to take it easy" I say
"You know me so well" she says
"As long as you relax you should be good to go" the doctor says
The doctor does one last check up and then leaves the room.
"So uh...are you gonna watch me change into normal clothes or stay and watch. I mean I'm perfectly fine with you watching" I smirk
"I-I'll meet you out there!" She quickly says as she stand up
"Oh come on now, I don't think that this would be nearly as weird as when you put your hand into my chest" I say
"Sh-Shut up! I don't ever wanna thing about that again! I can still feel the grossness..." she groans
She leaves the room and I quickly change into civilian clothes. After that we check out of the hospital.
"I can believe my confession was in a hospital" I complain as we head for the train station
"It was pretty romantic though, a confession under the moonlight after an intense battle" Toru gushes
"My fireworks display would have been much more romantic" I say
"You had fireworks ready?" She asks
"I even paid extra" I groan
"Well, we'll just have to go and watch the fireworks together for new year's" she says
"I'm sure that there is a lot of things that couples do together. Like this for example" I say
I then grab her hand. She gets surprised but then she holds my hand back.
(A.N. Remember that Ryuji is just able to tell where all of Toru's body parts are. Like her hand and eyes for example)
"Hehe. There are a lot of cheesy romance scenes that I've seen in movies and tv shows that I've always wanted to try" she says
"Well I don't know much about all this relationship stuff so I'll let you take the lead most of the time" I say
"You, letting someone else take the lead? Who are you and what happened to the Ryuji I know and love" she sarcastically says
"What happed to the sweet and bubbly Toru I knew and loved?" I retort
We both laugh it off and continue to make our way to the train station. We get onto the train and since it's rather early the morning the trains are pretty much empty so we are able to easily find a seat.
