Part Thirty Seven-Time for a Festival

Hello everyone.I apologize for not updating this story for a couple of days. I was gonna update it yesterday but I got distracted...Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter (:

Ryuji POV
I wake up the next morning and look over to my garbage disposal.

"Arvin, what we discovered last night must never be spoken of again...that's an order" I say

"Yes sir, processing new order" he responds

"Today is the day of the festival. So let's go and get an early start of preparations" I say while standing up and stretching

I leave my room and after brushing my teeth and eating a small breakfast I make my way over to the classroom. I'm told that we'll be preforming at 10AM so that gives me about 4 to go and pick up Ren, go over the effects and choreography, and do one final band practice to make sure that Kaminari and Tokoyami get their timing right for when they switch places. Now that I remember, I have to make sure midoriya went and got that rope and to triple check and make sure that Kirishima won't drop Aoyama while he's holding him. I also need to make sure that the laser, confetti, and fog machine work.

"Jeez, I'm starting to realize how overworked I am" I say to myself

"I'm sure that it'll all be worth it in the end" I hear someone's voice

I look and see Mirio coming near me.

"Of course he's the first one I see today..." I think

"I'm about to leave to get Eri. How are the plans with the kid you're bringing?" He asks

"I contacted his aunt and she said that she's cool with it" I say

"That's fantastic, having a kid her age around will really help her" he says

"Hey Mirio...I have some bad news for you" I say

"Is it regarding...you know what?" He asks

"I'm afraid to report that until Eri gets better control of her quirk, you'll have to remain quirkless. I couldn't find a way to reverse engineer the bullet" I tell him

"It's ok...you gave it your best shot. But I won't let being quirkless for the moment get me down. I mean, look at you! You're quirkless and you're one of the smartest and strongest people I know!" He says

"Always with the optimism" I say

"Thank you for telling me Takashi. I must go and get Eri now!" He says while running off

I watch as he runs to the gate and leaves.

"Should I have told him the truth...no...nobody can know" I think

I get it the classroom and spend some time double checking all the machines to make sure that  they work.

"Hey Takashi, you're here early" I hear Kirishima say

"Just the man I wanted to see!" I say

"Uh...what?" He says confused

"Hey, Yaoyorozu! You think I could have just a bit of rope? Make it flimsy rope though" I say

"Flimsy rope? I suppose I could do that" she says while using her quirk to make some rope

"You my rocky friend, are gonna be with Aoyama practicing running across while holding the rope for until I get back" I say

"B-But I've gotta help set up" he says

"We've got plenty of hands, and I have even more if necessary" I say
