Ryuji POV
"What did you just say?" Frost asks

"You heard me, I said that I'll take care of them" I say

"You can't just take them, you'd have to go through the entire adoption process. Which is gonna be extremely difficult for you considering you're not at adult" he says

"Do you think I care? These kids have already been through hell, they don't need to just be tossed aside. They need to experience what it's like to have an actual childhood" I say

"I think this is the most serious I've ever seen Ryuji..." I hear Logan whisper to Cap

"I heard that!" I say

"You can't save every kid you find, what'll happen in the future if something like this happens again, will you adopt those kids as well?" Frost asks

"I think we both already know the answer to that" I say

"You have nine days until your last mission, you don't have time for the whole process" Frost says

"Well that's what money is for. I know how to make some generous donations to certain people to speed up the process" I say

"Sigh...You're really serious about this, aren't you?" He asks

"I really am" I say

"Fine, you have these nine days, starting now, to try and complete this process. If you aren't able to finish the adoption process then you must give up and send them to an orphanage" he says

"I accept your challenge. I'll show you how far mone-I mean determination can get people" I say

We then break and head back to our common area.

"Ryuji, you're insane" Logan says

"I knew that when I became a quirkless hero" I say

"Do you really think that you can take on being a parent for those two while also doing hero work on top of being a student?" Nadia asks

"Yes. Yes I do" I say

"I admire your actions, I really do. But you're only 16 my friend. You've still got a whole life ahead of you" Kris says

"Yeah, and one of those things in that life will be raining those two so that they have a good life" I say

"It's obvious that you have a soft spot for kids, but isn't this a bit too far?" Yami asks

"Yami, how would you feel if the people who rescued you, the first person who you trusted, just tossed you away to some sucky orphanage?" I ask

"I guess I'd feel betrayed...But I'm sure that they wouldn't exactly blame you" He says

"I don't care. They deserve good in their life, and I plan ok giving it to them" I say

"Team, let him do it. He's not gonna give this up" Cap says

"Hell no I ain't. I want to at least raise them until they are 18. Then they can go off and do whatever they want" I say

I go into my room and see that Lynn and Lee are still asleep.

"No going back now. Not that I'd want to go back" I think

I get out my phone and give my mom a call.

"Hello Ryuji dear. Do you need something?" She asks

"Well, I've got a question for you" I say
