Part Seventy Five-A Government Request

Ryuji POV
I open my eyes and see that I'm in some room.

"Where am I?" I think

I walk around the room until I eventually come across a door. I open and and inside...are all my friends and family lying in a pile...dead.

"No! Not this nightmare again!" I think

"Ryuji, you could have saved us" Cap's voice says

"S-Stop it!" I shout

"You're nothing but a failure" Katsuki's voice says

"I-I'm not a failure!" I shout

"You're just a quirkless boy in a heap of scrap metal. How could you ever expect to be a hero?" Toru's voice says

"I-I can come up with something!" I say

"If only you were stronger. Then maybe I would still be alive" Midnight's voice says

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean for things to end up like this!" I say

My mind is filled with the dying voices of my friends and family as I collapse to my knees and scream.

"I'm sorry!" I say as I wake up

I look around and see that I'm in my dorm room.

"Sigh...That same nightmare, it's been haunting me ever since I found out about Midnight's death" I say to myself

I look at the time and see that it's 3AM.

"Yeah...I won't be able to go back to sleep. Might as well do some work" I say

I get out of bed and get back to work on project Alpha.

Hours later...
"Sir, you've got two emails in your inbox" Arvin says

"Read em to me" I say

"The first one is from Ms.Hatsume. She says that she might've come up with something regarding that shrinking and growing device you two talked about on New Year's Eve" he says

"Tell her I'm busy with other projects right now" I say

"Right away, sir. The second one is from the Ministry of Defense" he says

I'm quite for a moment as I process what he said.

"Mind repeating that?" I ask

"It's an official email from the Ministry of Defense. They'd like for you to come to Ichigaya for a very important meeting" he says

"The Ministry of Defense, wants to have a meeting with me, a U.A student?" I ask

"That is correct, sir" he says

"Huh...I knew I was popular but I didn't think that spread to the government" I say

"Are you going to accept the meeting?" He asks

"Yeah, it's not like school started back up yet. U.A is still recuperating and dealing with other matters" I say

"I'll send a response email right away" he says
