Ryuji POV
"The lab is just over that way and to the right. I'll come and get you and Yami when Frost needs us" Nadia says to me
"Yes ma'am" I say
"And Ryuji, I really am glad that you're ok" she says
I give her a smile and we part ways. I start making my way to the lab and when I get there, I see Yami typing on a computer.
"Someones hard at work" I say
"Hey Ryuji, I'm just I'm just going through some gamma ray scans so that we can get that Tesseract or whatever Frost calls it" he says
He then freezes and for a second and looks at me
"You're alive!" He exclaims while rushing over to me
"I pretty sure I AM!" I shout the last part as he gives me a surprisingly strong hug
"Does everyone here have such strong hugs?!" I think
He lets go of me and I regain my breath.
"Jesus Yami! That was almost as painful as Kris's hugs!" I say
"I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you!" He apologizes
"It's fine. I'm just surprised. Anyhow, you're looking at gamma rays, right? You're dad has done wonderful work when it comes to all that so the next time you see him tell him that I'm a big fan of his work" I say
"W-Will do. I'm still not sure that this Tesseract is still, Frost has yet to explain to us, but I'm still doing my best to help out" he says
"Well I've gotta work on some things in the meantime but if you need any help, feel free to ask" I say
I go over to a workstation and set my helmet down and drag my suit over here.
"First things first, I need to get Arvin back" I say to myself
I reach into my helmet and press a small button.
"Arvin, Arvin you there?" I ask
A moment passes before I hear a static voice.
"I've gotta fix my suit up first so that I can hear him properly. Arvin, if you can hear me then sit tight" I say
I start with fixing my helmet up so that I'll be able to talk with Arvin. Once I'm finished I put the helmet on.
"Arvin, you there?" I ask
"My goodness sir! It's really you!" Arvin says
"I'm pretty sure it is" I say
"Everyone here thinks you're dead! Miss Toru is crushed right now!" He says
"Way to make me feel guilty..." I say
"I must tell everyone that you're alive! Where are you right no-" I cut him off
"No! Don't tell anyone that I'm alive and ok right now" I say
"Why in the heavens not?!" He asks
"Because...I want to face everyone in person" I say
"But they all deserve to know that you're alive. Especially dear miss Toru" he says
"I've got some mental things to figure out first before I go back. You know, I don't deserve Toru. I put her through so much all because of the way that I am. I would understand that whenever go back, she's finally had enough and wants to break up with me" I say
