Ryuji POV
In two days is a day that I've looked forward too for as long as I can remember. In two days is the day that I-Island opens to the public, also known as the I-Expo. I've always wanted to go to I-Expo but I've never got the chance, my dad always gets invited since he actually graduated from the college there but he was always too busy so he just kept gave his invite away. This year he told me that I can have his invite and plus one since he thinks I'm old enough to go by myself now. The funny thing is that I already got invited to I-Expo since I won the sports festival but I just told them to give it to one of the third place people, since I assume that Todoroki already has an invite considering who his family is.
"Hey Arvin give Toru a call" I say
"Right away sir" he responds
A minute passes and Toru picks up
"Hey Ryu what's up?" I hear her ask
"Toru do you know what I-Expo is?" I ask
"Well duh like everyone knows what it is, it's where I-Island opens up to the public and shows off all their new developments" she says
"Well have you ever wanted to go?" I ask
"Of course I've wanted to go! I'd be so cool to see all the cool things there and they even have rides and stuff, it's like an amusement park but a million times better!" She exclaims
"Well I got myself an invite and I can take a plus one with me, would you like to be my plus one?" I ask
"...." she's silent
"Toru?" I say
"Give me a couple minutes" she says and hangs up
"Is that a yes?" I say to myself
A bit later a I hear a knock on my door
"Who could that be?" I wonder
I go to my door and open it
"Who is i-" I get cut off by a bone crushing hug
"Ryu thank you so much for inviting me I've always wanted to go but my family has never gotten the chance!" She says
"Well I don't know why you came here when you'll have to go back to your place and pack some things" I say as I'm getting crushed
"I just really wanted to give you a hug" she says
"Well as much as I appreciate that you are kinda squeezing me too hard" I say as I start to feel pain
"Oh right, sorry about that" she says as she let's go
"You should probably head back to your house and pack right away, we uh kinda have to leave right now" I say
"RIGHT NOW!" She exclaim
"When you are fished just come back here and we'll head to the plane" I say
