Uraraka POV
I slowly wake up and remember that I'm in one of Takashi's guest rooms.
"This is probably the best bed I've ever slept on" I say to myself while stretching
"Good morning Ms.Uraraka, please help yourself to whatever you'd like to eat" Arvin says
"Thanks Arvin. Gosh, I don't even know how I'll be able to thank Takashi for all this" I say
"He's in his lab whenever you're ready to meet with him" he says
"He's already working?" I think
I decide to head straight for his lab and when I enter, I see him hard at work. But even I can tell that he's exhausted.
"Uh, hey Takashi. I see you're working hard" I say
"Oh, hey Uraraka" he says in a tired tone
"Are you sure you should be working right now? You seem exhausted" I say
"I'm fine Uraraka. I got plenty of sleep" he says
"You definitely don't look fine, you look like you've been awake for hours now. You should really get some sleep" I say
"God you really do sound like Toru. Listen, I'm fine, I got enough sleep. So just drop it" he says in a harsh tone
I'm about to drop it, when I think about how well Takashi has treated me.
"Takashi brought me in this trip to make me forget about everything that's been going on. I want to repay his kindness with my own" I think
I stomp over to him and swipe the tool he's using out of his hand.
"No, I will not drop it! You need to get some sleep so until you do, I won't give you this tool back" I say
"Oh no, whatever am I gonna do without my 1 out of like 50 locking pliers" he sarcastically says
"Come on Takashi, I just wanna help" I say
"Uraraka, I don't need your help, I'm fine. So please just let it go" he says
"Takashi, you brought me with you on this mission to help me, so it's only right that I help you. So please, I can tell that something is wrong, so just let me help you" I say
He's silent for a moment before fully turning to me.
"Listen Uraraka, what's going on with me is too complicated for anyone to understand. Even if it wasn't, I don't want to drag people into my problems" he says
"Takashi, at least let me try. You don't have to be alone in this" I say
"Even if I wanted to, now isn't the time, we've got a job to do" he says
He then pulls up a picture of someone.
"This guy, is Adhar Anand, a famous assassin. Arvin and I managed to spot him on the security footage from one of the truck's dash cams" he says
"Takashi please just talk to me-" he cuts me off
"I've already sent the footage and evidence to the police, so all that's left is to head back to the crime scene and look for clues. So whenever you're ready, suit up and meet me at the crime scene. I'll be waiting for you there" he says
He gets into his suit and flies through the sunroof.
"Sigh...I just wanna help" I say to myself
