Murray's Hideout
May 15th
600 Hours

Prince Quincy was going back to his kingdom today, and hopefully taking me along,
I'm getting really tired of this mission... Besides, I want to let Erica know I'm alright...
I woke up to a paper plate of sloppily made eggs and bacon.
I shrugged and ate up the plate, throwing it away in the trash.
"Okay...just be cool... You'll only be within close proximity of your asshole nemesis for a few hours." I muttered to myself. Not like it helped.
I opened the door.
"Oh, Ripley~!"
I silently growled and made my way to the kitchen where Murray was.
Murray was standing by the counter with a smile on his face.
"I tried to make ramen in the coffee pot! And I broke everything!"
He stood aside, showing off the broken coffee pot.
"Can you fix it?" He nervously chuckled.
This is my nemesis?
I groaned. "Fine..."
He shoved a box of tools and scraps on the counter and ran off.
I pinched the bridge of my nose, already done with Murray.
Then I picked up a screwdriver and went to work.
It took an hour and a half, but I finally fixed it...
God damn Murray...
He knocked on the kitchen door.
"Hey Ben, you done?" He awkwardly asked.
"Yes. Now take this piece of advice... Don't make ramen in the damn coffee pot!" I put my hands on my hips.
"Someone's moody..."
I pointed the screwdriver at him.
"Alright! Point made!" He put his hands up.
I sighed.
Did I seriously have to deal with this?
"I'm so lucky to have you on the team!" He locked me in a hug. Since he was taller, practically his whole body was slumped over me.
"Ack! Murray! Get off!" I protested.
"Don't worry, I do that every day~!"
I shoved him to the floor.
"Gross!" I looked him up and down, disgusted by his joke.
He stared back at me with a smug grin.
I turned my back on him and left to go somewhere else.
I liked him better when he was trying to kill me...
For the next couple hours, I busied myself with whatever was there.
Played video games with Quincy (Which Murray butted into...)
That's...pretty much it...
Since I was essentially a prisoner, I couldn't leave the building.
I even resorted to cleaning the place. Yes, I was that bored.
But, to my great relief, it was 3:55.
Almost time to go.
"You remember the plan, right?" I asked Quincy.
He nodded with a smile.
"You sneak out while I provide a distraction, then you hide on the boat and we're both home free!" He locked me in a hug.
"Ready?" I smiled back at him.
Quincy nodded in affirmation.
"Alright, let's do this thing!"
I started to the bathroom, which fortunately, had a window.
I stood up on the sink and swiftly picked the lock.
But before I could open the window, someone grabbed my ankle and pulled me down.
Murray.
"Oh no you don't!"
I ended up landing on him with groans of pain from both of us.
Mostly from him.
I tried to get up, but Murray locked his arms around my neck.
"I didn't go through all this work just for you to escape, Ripley! You're not going anywhere!"
He pressed down on my neck, but not enough to suffocate me.
Normally I could just shove him off, but something was different. It's like he's using every bit of strength he has just to keep me here!
"What do you want from me?! Money? Information! Forget it! You lost your chance at being my friend, Murray Hill! So...let...me...go!" I tried to pry his arm away from my neck to no avail.
"Listen, I know I screwed up! A lot! But I wanna make up for it, please just give me a chance!" He pleaded.
"Why would I?! All you've done is use me and try to kill me! And you wonder why I like Erica so much!"
Murray's face contorted into one of anger.
It looks like I hit a nerve...
"Are you kidding!? And how many times has she used you?! Huh? How many times has she put your life on the line for her own gain?! She's no better than me!" He spat.
"Murray, are you seriously jealous?! Listen, turning me against Erica isn't gonna make her like you any more!" I retorted.
"Are you dense?! I don't want Erica to like me, I want you to like me, you moron!"
