May 16th
1400 Hours

We finally arrived in Brazil after four painful hours.
We let down the anchor (which is really just a cinder block) and tied the boat to a nearby dock.
We all took our stuff and left for the hotel Murray booked.
"We have to go left!" He said.
"But the hotel is on the right!" Rem protested.
"That's the wrong hotel! The one we're going to is on the left!" Murray argued.
I groaned and rubbed the bridge of my nose.
They just kept on bickering... I could feel a migraine coming on...
"Would you shut up?!"
Everyone stopped and looked at me.
I covered my mouth in surprise and embarrassment.
"I've been wanting to tell you! The hotel is right behind us!" I pointed to the building by the pier.
"He's right! Which means it isn't to the left, Murray!" Rem narrowed her eyes at him.
"It isn't to the right either, Rem..." He muttered.
"Quit. Arguing." I gritted out.
That immediately shut everyone up.
We all walked to the hotel and got checked into our room.
I sat down on the couch.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you guys... I didn't mean to say that out loud..." I apologized.
"No, it's fine. At least it helped us find the actual hotel." Rem shrugged.
"However, that makes me wonder what kinds of stuff you don't say out loud..." Murray looked the slightest bit afraid.
"You don't wanna know." I sighed.
"I don't think I do."
He sat down and wrapped his arm around me.
"We have a few hours until the CIA arrives, so why don't we go to the beach? Let's have some fun!" Murray suggested with a smile.
"Sure! I'm down! I'll go get my swimsuit!"
We all changed out into our bathing suits and headed out to the beach.
Tess immediately started for the water.
"Not so fast! We need sunscreen!" I called out.
Tess groaned and came back.
I tossed her one of the bottles of sunscreen I packed.
I took the other and started applying it. Then there was one spot on my back I couldn't reach.
"Need some help?" Murray asked.
I sighed and wordlessly handed over the sunscreen.
With a hum, he rubbed some on my back.
I felt my cheeks heat up at his touch. He has surprisingly soft hands.
He was slow and deliberate, as if giving a massage.
Dammit, it's like he's trying to fluster me!
Which he probably is...
"All done!"
I turned around and saw the smirk on Murray's face.
He was definitely doing that on purpose. Smug bastard...
We all finished applying our sunscreen.
"Come on, Murray! Last one in the water is a loser!" Tess taunted.
"Nah. I gotta work on my tan." Murray put on a pair of sunglasses and laid back on the towel.
"Ben, can you...?" Tess motioned to Murray.
I nodded.
I picked Murray up.
"Wait, wait, what are you doing?!" He cried.
I tossed him into the water.
He came back up to the surface sputtering.
"Oh it's on! Hey guys, let's play Ambush!" Murray called out.
"How do you play?" Tess excitedly asked.
"Like this!" He grabbed my ankle and pulled me down under the water.
He cackled.
I used that as a distraction to shove him down.
Tess smiled and joined in with us, Rem following.
After 20 minutes of playing, we were already tired.
"Guys...can we...take a break and...play another game...?" Murray panted.
Everyone nodded in agreement and went back to our spot.
We took some soda and water from the cooler and gulped it down.
"Hey! Why don't we play volleyball?" Tess suggested.
"Sure!" I agreed.
Tess took out a beat-up volleyball and went over to a net.
When we started playing, I thought I heard the snaps of a camera. But when I looked over, the camera was resting on Murray's chest as he read a magazine he picked up.
Either someone else was taking pictures or Murray is really sneaky.
I decided to ignore it and kept playing volleyball with Tess. But even at the end of the day, I was still wondering about it. So I checked the camera when we got back to the hotel.
Murray was changing in the bedroom and I looked through the pictures on the camera.
"Murray!"
He popped his head out the door. "Yeah?" He asked.
"Why were you taking pictures of my ass?!" I cried in indignation, my face as red as a tomato.
He grinned, making a face that said "You know very well why."
"I'm deleting all of them!"
With a huff I deleted every last picture of me.
There were a lot.
Murray came out of the bedroom with a defeated look on his face.
He slumped down on the couch.
"Quit pouting, you pervert." Rem said coldly.
"But they were good pictures..." He whined.
I sighed and went into the bedroom to change out of my swimsuit. I put on some dry clothes and dried off my wet hair.
When I got back, everyone was ready.
It's time to steal some emeralds.
