No Bars In The Way

Natsu's P.O.V

As the door opened quietly it revealed a young nurse in a white uniform.

"um s-sir miss Lucy" has woken up.." she said shyly

"that's great news!" i said as i jumped up holding Nashi in my arms.

"am i able to see her?" i said enthusiastic

"y-yes follow me sir.." she once again said shyly as we left my room with nashi in my arms, i was wondering why she was acting shy? i mean she was one of the nurses that was there when Nashi was born so why?, then it it me.

"miss nurse are you afraid of me?" i said tilting my head as she was walking in front of me

'uh um ah...well maybe..i-i mean most people hear a-are quite shocked to learn that there soon to be king who was mean and cruel now soft and kind to a angel and now to find out that you are basically the re-carnation of Lucifer..." she said as she looked down at her feet while walking

"i-i see.." i said as i was taken back about how people thought of me

"anyway lets get off this depressing note..she's right in here" the nurse said she she stopped and directed to the door next to us.

"uh thanks..." i said as i slowly turned the door handle to enter the room.

Once inside there was Lucy lying on a medical bed with her eyes closed.

"pft didn't the nurse say she was awake..." i said to a bit of disappointment.

"m-mama!" Nashi said as she soon realised that the sleeping beauty was her mother.

"uhhh Nashi...go to sleep" Lucy said in a sleepy tone telling us that she was now half asleep.

"hey Lucy wake up will ya, Nashi wants you" i said as i tried to hold Nashi back from trying to jump onto Lucy.

But after a moment of silence i let Nashi go.

"MAMA!!" Nashi yelled in Lucy's ear

"ahhh Nashi what did i just-" she said stopping half way as she noticed me standing there.

"Natsu..."

"Hey, how you feeling?" i said as i got a chair and sat next to her

"i'm good...what about you? are you hurt? did they do anything to you? i remember you had some bruising, maybe you should get check-" she was saying as i cut her off by kissing her

"Lucy...i am fine, but we need to worry about you, you lost a lot of blood back there..."

"i know..." she said as she raised her hand to my cheek

"finally no bars in the way..."

"i know...anyway when do you get out of here?" i said as i held her cheek to my face

"The nurse and doctor said tomorrow....i still need some special nutrients from the medicine in my body to recover.."

"i see then....hmmm well i cant wait any longer"

Normal P.O.V

Natsu got up from his chair and bent down on one knee

"h-hey what are you d-doing..." lucy said as natsu started to pull something out of his pant pocket

"Lucy heartfilia of the angel realm, it makes me so happy to say this but will you marry me?"

A/N: so how was that for a chapter? ALSO PLEASE go and read my friends new novel, i thought it was very well write and i loved the plot so far
