------------------------------------------------------------- Our heroine Ashley Ketchum, won a Boulder Badge, her first step towards competing in the Pokemon League Championships. Joined by the Gym Leader Brock, Ashley continues her journey with Misty, and Elektra as they walk along a path towards Cerulean City. But as they left Pewter City, little did they suspect that their next adventure would be out of this world! ------------------------------------------------------------- Hiking towards Mount Moon. Where various strange and astonishing tales have been told about this mysterious place, and the group's about to discover that all of them are true.
"Mount Moon! Doesn't the name sound romantic?" Misty expressed with wonderment.
"It does sound nice, but I'm not the kind of girl who's into this stuff, Misty. I was more of a tomboy growing up."
"People say that a huge meteor crashed into the mountain back in prehistoric times," Brock states.
"Is that true?" Misty asks.
"The meteor is called a Moon Stone."
"Which is also an evolution stone," Ashley further explained Brock's analysis of the meteor. "It helps certain fairy pokemon evolve. Such as a Nidorina into Nidoqueen, Nidorino into Nidoking, Clefairy into Clefable, Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff, Skitty into Delcatty, and Munna into Musharna."
"Wow Ashley, you really know your Pokemon."
"You can say that again, Brock."
"I can't take all the credit. It's due to the studying I've achieved with Professor Oak when he's teaching me Pokemon."
However, as the three were walking, a scream was heard and Elektra dashed off to know where it came from with everybody following the electric mouse Pokemon. And what they found was a flock of Zubat attacking a man.

And so, the Zubat flew back into their cave.
"Are you alright Sir?" Ashley questioned with worry.
However, this male stranger was a little too grateful for how tightly he was hugging Ashley.
