The room was dark and silent, Karma sat in a cage suspended in the air, chains wrapped around all her limbs.

There was absolutely nobody in or around her cell, or maybe the talismans were sucking so much chakra out of her that she couldn't tell anymore.

Karma had always hated this place.

Granted she's only been here 6 times in her lifespan, and each one was worse than the other.

It reminded her a lot of the abyss. Well, the Hokage tried to make it that way. He took it as an opportunity to make sure this wouldn't happen again.

Occasionally, a younger ninja would stumble in nervously and slip some food through the bars. She scowled at them with her one exposed eye. Eventually, they stopped coming inside and just made their summons to do their dirty work.

If Karma had to make a guess, she would say she's been in there for about two weeks, maybe three, possibly four.

She tends to get weaker as the weeks pass. She estimated she'll be in there for at least another few days.

Her attention was brought back to the real world when the clanking of bars was heard, footsteps followed suit.

The Hokage and a few other Anbu surrounded something, by the looks of it. Once they separated, they revealed Genya standing there with an anxious look on his face.
