Y/n was at his desk revising for the upcoming test. But one thing was one his mind.
What Simon had told him. Worst part is, y/n knows Simon wasn't ready to say it. But the poor boy had said it in the heat of an argument
In the end, y/n called Jay, neil and will to see if they wanted to come over for abit. That way, he could have a break from the revision
You see, only y/n was revicing at this time. He was in the year above Simon and doing his A levels. But he was part of their little gang
That's because he protected them from other kids in his year when they first came to the school. He was year 8 and they (except will) were year 7. They were soon good friends
"Wow. You look like shit" Neil said walking into my room and sitting on the bed, immediately turning on the xbox
"Thanks Neil. Appreciate it" y/n said
"No worries" neil replied making y/n roll his eyes
"So why were you in such a hurry to have us round" will asked
"Obviously it's because y/n was beginning to miss us since he's been replacing us with those stupid books" Jay said
"Yes Jay....yes its exactly that" y/n grumbled
"In all seriousness, I got into a fight with Simon yesterday and it's been on my mind all day. He said some things I know he regrets. I just don't know what to do" y/n said
"Well we can stay here and guard your new xbox whilst you go his house and make up" Jay said reaching for the other xbox controller
"Wow. You guys would really do that for me?" Y/n asked sarcastically knowing full well it was for the xbox
"Ye course we would. That's the kind of friends we are. We make sacrifices so yu can be happy" will said trying to play with the xbox despite neil and Jay not letting him
"Alright. I'll get my jacket and go. Remember, same rule as always. You break it. You buy it" y/n yelled as he ran down the stairs
Soon he was stood outside simons banging on the door
"Come on si just open up. I just wanna talk to you. I swear it's just me and I havnt told a soul. You're my best friend Simon. Nothing can change that" y/n yelled.
After many more tries, the door finally opened to a very stressed looking Simon. He let me in and I took a seat on the kitchen worktop
"Listen. About yesterday. Let's just forget it ye?" Simon suggested
"No. No I can't forget it when it's already been said. We don't have to talk about it and that's fine. But I need you to know that you can talk to me. And....and I'm on the same wave length as you" y/n said
"Huh?" Simon asked not understanding
"I'm on the same wave length. I bark up the same tree. I chase the same fish. I'm gay Simon" y/n said giving up on the analogies
"Seriously?" Simon asked
"Seriously" y/n agreed
"Im sorry but I don't like you or anything. Not like that anyway" Simon said
"Si. Just because we are gay, doesn't mean we like eachother. Jay doesn't like every girl he sees. Let me rephrase. Will doesn't like every girl he sees" y/n said chuckling
"That makes sense. So we are just 2 best friends who happen to be gay but want no romantic relationship with one another" Simon said
"Now you get it. You can always talk to me about anything. You know that don't you?" Y/n asked
"I know.....there is one thing"
"Go on..." y/n said
"I was wondering if you know about will" Simon said
"Will? Is will gay? Omg. I mean I always had my suspicions but-"
"No. No wills not gay. Or atleast I don't think he is. I was just sort of hoping that maybe he was gay" Simon said making y/n's Jay hang open
"Oh....my....God. This is amazing. You should tell him" y/n said
"What! And risk losing one of my best friends and letting the entire school know in the process. I don't think so" Simon yelled
"Alright alright" y/n grumbled
"So anyway...who do you fancy?" Simon asked
"Oh he's gorgeous. He's blonde. Not that tall but I wouldn't say he's short either. Wears alot of black. Doesn't like his father" y/n kept giving hints
"You like jay? Sorry y/n but your taste of men is.....questionable" Simon said
"No not Jay. He's a cunt. I mean draco malfoy. You see, my problem is that all the people I like for longer than 2 days are fictional and therefore, i can't legally marry them" y/n huffed making Simon laugh
"The right one will come along soon. You just gotta wait for it" Simon said
"Ye. Anyway, I've left Jay and Neil with my xbox. So if like to get back before it's out the window. Wills there aswell. You coming?" Y/n asked him
"Ye go on then. But I am not telling will anything" Simon said
"Sure...." y/n agreed but not convincingly
At y/ns House, everyone sat eating pizza and playing fifa
"This new xbox is sick" Neil said
"You can have it" y/n said
"Really?" Jay asked
"No ya idiots" y/n rolled his eyes at the boys
"Hi will...could I speak with you" Simon said. Will nodded his head and they walked out the room but not before I gave Simon an encouraging smile
1 hour later, they came back downstairs
"Why were you two sissys so long? Bumming eachother" Jay laughed
"No" they said all too quickly whilst turning red and smirking. I looked at Simon and will and burst out laughing. They were quick to throw cushions at me
"What's going on?" Neil asked
"Nothing" us 3 replied, me still stifling the laugh in my throat
