Netra Mitran likes her best friend, Praveen Patil. It wasn't a problem; he was a pureblood, which was really all the criteria her family had (other than her potential match being a male, but that was another discussion for another day).

Enter Walburga Black. The damn woman was dangerous with her sheer stupidity when desperate, and Sirius Black being a blood-traitor made her desperate. So desperate, in fact, that all her Slytherin cunning flew out the window, making her vulnerable enough that the Mitrans, a family full of Ravenclaw blood-purists, conned the Blacks into securing a marriage contract for their sole daughter and heir: Netra Mitran.

There was just one problem: Regulus Black is NOT Praveen Patil. Distinctly so, in fact.
