After the group had trained themselves, they headed towards another mission with the fire pillar. "The beast is resting now, but keep on your guard," Inosuke yelled, "You idiot, stop making a scene, it's not a beast it's a train. It's a way to transport people." Zenitsu yelled to the boar-headed boy. "Pig assault, Pig assault!" Inosuke head butted the train, bringing the attention of the train guards, "Hey, they have swords. Call the police!" "Run!" Zenitsu yelled, dragging the boar headed boy away from the train. Y/N sighed as she had already hidden her sword, and headed after the boys, laughing slightly at their confusion as a beautiful woman approached them while wearing a black and orange kimono, which faded into white as it got lower down. "Hello boys," "Wait, Y/N?" Tanjiro asked, smelling a familiar scent, "It's me. You all are fools. The demon slayer corps are not recognised by the government, meaning you can't wear your swords in such a public place." The three boys glanced at each other, and began putting their swords on their backs, mostly hiding them. "Inosuke, put some clothes on, your swords aren't covered at all." Y/N sighed, stifling her laughter, "Now we need to get tickets and get on the train, we're meeting the flame pillar, Rengoku, on the train." Once the group had boarded the train, they began searching for the vibrant flame pillar. "Umai, umai," As the group heard this, they found the flame pillar, eating bento and chanting, "Umai," "Rengoku? We are here for the mission," Y/N said, bowing towards the pillar, "Come sit down, I recognise the boys but who are you?" Rengoku replied, "I'm Y/N, the one that beat up Sanemi." Rengoku's eyes widened, "You sure know how to change your appearance well, Y/N. Now for the mission, there is a demon aboard this train, there were forty demon slayers dispatched to this train and none survived, that's why I'm here." Zenitsu yelled, "We're not going to the demon? We're already at the demon? Let me off, let me off," "Can I check your tickets?" A tired looking conductor walked up to the group, holding a ticket puncher. "Of course," everyone replied at once, handing their tickets over one by one until it was Y/N's turn, "Don't give him your ticket Y/N, it's infused with blood demon art and when punched it puts you to sleep,' 'What do I do then?' 'You will have to give it to him, but we will wake you up immediately,' 'Ok, I'll be ready' "Here you go," Y/N said smiling at the conductor while handing him her ticket. "Thank you for your cooperation," the conductor said as he shuffled off, with Rengoku noticing a demon appearing behind the conductor. "You must have used a demon art to camouflage yourself demon, Mister please ignore my sword as this is an emergency." Rengoku said, as he stood, bringing his red sword in front of him as he said, "Flame breathing, first form," A sea of flames appeared behind Rengoku as he sliced the demon's head off and headed back to his seat to sit down. Y/N said, "I feel that it was not the only demon here, there is a stronger presence nearby," "I agree, the smell in this train is stronger than the smell on that demon, plus it was a different scent." Tanjiro replied, the group sat down and fell asleep. ... Elsewhere on the train, "Please, I did what you asked, I put them to sleep. Please let me see my dead wife and daughter." The train conductor sobbed before a demon, "Go to sleep," the demon used his blood demon art, making the man fall into a deep sleep, "Now, go to the demon slayers and make sure you destroy the spiritual cores of the slayers," the demon ordered the group of five humans, who nodded and headed towards the cabin of slayers. Y/N's eyes opened in a forest, with both Ren and Onai appearing before her, "You have to wake up Y/N, you and your friends are in danger" "The demon is Lower moon 1, make sure you kill him," Back in the real world, the group of humans had found the slayers and began to tie the ropes around their wrists and began to enter the slayers dreams in search of their spiritual cores. The human assigned to Y/N, a young girl was the last to enter, she appeared in a forest, seeing Ren, Onai and Y/N in front of her. "You are not meant to be here," "You cannot live any longer" "You really should go now, before we wake up." "What? How are you aware?" the girl questioned, shaking slightly, "We are always aware!" the three said in unison, before Y/N opened her eyes in real life, kicking the girl out of her head. At the same time, Nezuko tumbled out of her box, "Nezuko, you need to burn the ropes, and wake the others." Y/N said, drawing her blade and aiming towards the furious girl, "I just want to dream, but you messed it up!" The girl charged towards Y/N with a large needle, Y/N side-stepped and knocked the girl out of window, where she hit the ground, rolling. "Now time to find that demon," Y/N stated before dodging a blow from another human, turning towards the group, Y/N noticed that the ropes had been burned and the humans sent to kill them were awake. "You really want to attack me, even when I knocked your buddy out of the train?" Y/N sighed, "So annoying, I'll just knock you all out, then I'll find that demon," all of the awake humans, except for one charged Y/N, who just sighed and flowed between them, knocking them all out. "Why didn't you attack me?" "I have a life threating disease, plus I was attached to that kind boy, his spirit was so serene, it made me not want to kill anymore," "Tanjiro? Huh, I won't knock you out, please make sure that the ones I knocked out are ok," Y/N said bowing towards the tearful boy before jumping out the window and swinging up onto the roof of the train. "How are you awake so soon? I just need a bit more time, go to sleep." The demon said, using his demon art to make Y/N fall asleep, who just shrugged the attack off, laughing slightly, "That won't work on me, I'll kill you and be done with this mission," Lower moon 1's eyes widened, 'she shrugged off my attack? She cannot be human, but she isn't a demon either.' "Just what are you? You aren't human, but you aren't a demon." Y/N shrugged, "I'm not too sure myself, I just know that revenge will be served," "Y/N!" Tanjiro yelled as he threw himself up onto the roof as well, "Nice to see you awake Tanjiro, now shall we kill this demon?" "Yes" LM1 (Lower Moon 1) thought to himself, 'the boy with the sun earrings, and the girl with the fanged blade? What luck to have them come to me. It's like a dream,' Tanjiro's blade flowed with water as he charged towards the demon, Y/N smirking as she chased him, her blade darkening. "Go to sleep," Y/N kept charging as Tanjiro faltered, but soon woke up and kept going as well. 'Is he shrugging off my attacks as well? No, he's killing himself over and over again in the dreams to wake up. He has so much grit.' LM1 frowned, repeating "go to sleep," over and over, making little impact on the forward charge of Y/N and Tanjiro. The two blades bit into LM1, taking his head off, "How sad, you really thought you could kill me that easily, while you were asleep, I merged with this train. Everyone inside it is my prey." LM1 grinned as his head was absorbed by the train. "Shit, we have to protect everyone," Y/N said, breaking through the roof, slashing at the tentacles heading for the asleep passengers. "Y/N, Inosuke, I have an idea where the neck is, we have to chop off the front carriage from the engine," "Tanjiro, Inosuke, go kill this demon, I'll protect as many as I can." "Don't tell me what to do," Inosuke yelled as he and Tanjiro headed for the front of the train. Y/N turned as flames spread down the carriages stopping just in front of her as Rengoku appeared, "It seems a lot has changed while I was having a nap. I'll protect the back five carriages, you, yellow boy and the demon girl protect the first five." Y/N looked at him, "I can help you protect the last five if you want, I know Zenitsu and Nezuko don't need my help." Rengoku looked at the young woman, "They do need to, there are many more tentacles there than at the back carriages." "Alright, Rengoku. See you once this is over." Y/N said, turning towards the front carriages and saying, "Killer breathing, fifth form: adapted frenzy hook," Y/N's eyes turned red, with tentacle-like appendages bursting from her back, in a black-orange colour, with the tips coloured white. She disappeared, reappearing at the first carriage with all of the tentacles made by the train sliced up in her wake.
