The play room
"Caroline what's mum like" John asked as he played with a little plane.
"Oh she's wonderful" Caroline said as she played with the bow on her Teddy bear.
Patrick continued to giggle and played with his blanket and he was on a giant Teddy bear that Caroline had.
Caroline and John laughed at Patrick.
"Hey you have mummy's eyes" Caroline said as she looked into John's eyes and John looked into hers.
"And you have daddy's eyes" John said
"Hey Patrick come here for a second" Caroline said
Patrick trotted over holding his blanket in one hand and tried pulling the giant Teddy bear by the ear with his other hand. Once he finally got over to Caroline, Caroline looked into his eyes and there was a mixture of Jack and Jackie's eyes. You could see both colors.
"John do you know what your mothers name is?" Caroline asked
"Daddy said her name was Jacqueline Bouvier and then when she married daddy she became Jacqueline Kennedy"
Caroline's mouth dropped, "That's my mummy's name!"
"It's is!" Patrick said as he laid on the Teddy bear
"Wait! If your dad is my dad and my mum is your mum then that means..." Caroline said
"WE'RE RELATED!!!" John said
Before anything was said a sound went off. It echoed through the house.
It was a gun shot.
