Alice's Diary

AN: TW: Mental Illness and mentions of violence.

This chapter is short, but I wanted to post it anyway since I thought it would demonstrate how various incidents throughout the story changed Alice's personality to an extent.

Also, I know the second diary entry gives zero context about what happened at the hospital, but that's because she had already given context in a previous entry.

Please let me know if I'm writing the PTSD screening/diagnosis thing right! I wanna be as accurate as possible, especially when it comes to something like this.

Have fun reading and thanks for all the support!

Dear Diary,

Sooo, my first day at Beacon Hills High School went... Different than expected.
The bad news is, I witnessed a scary supernatural occurrence in some guy named Liam, as well as a one-sided fight between him and Gabe, who teamed up with his best friend, Nolan to "expose him a werewolf" Mom agreed to take me to therapy, but I'm not sure when it'll start.
The good news is, I made a new friend named Katie, Gabe wasn't completely embarrassed to be around me, and NOLAN... Nolan. Is. The FINEST. Piece of man. I've ever laid my eyes on. Sure, he helped Gabe fight Liam, but he was really sweet to me! I had a panic attack during the fight (hence, the need for therapy), and he stopped fighting to comfort me! I know I only met him yesterday, but I think I'm in love with him. I hope he ends up being my soulmate.

Dear Diary,

It's four in the morning. I'm still awake because of some stupid nightmare I had.
Gabe's getting screened for PTSD in the morning, and I will be in the afternoon. I'm 99% sure I have it but what about Gabe? I'd hate to see him go through all those panic attacks and flashbacks. I don't know how a guy like him would handle all that sudden emotion.
I think Nolan said he's getting screened tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if he came out with it, especially after all he's been through. I don't care how many mental illnesses I end up with. As his soulmate, I vow to help him through it. I love him too much to see him suffer.
