~•chapter 4•~ {fresh start}

                              Bendy's pov

I groaned waking up as I knew it was Monday, the Monday cuphead and his friends would be returning to school, I really couldn't be bothered seeing him again knowing he still has a grudge against me.

I had been texting mugman these past couple of days and he told me he spoke to cup and ended up convincing him to apologise to me, he didn't really seem like he meant his apology when he texted me but at least I got one I guess, I also decided to apologise on my behalf wich he actually seemed thankful of, that was surprising

Mugs told me that of cup tried to pick on me again to message him so mugs could confront cup, im gonna be honest mugs is WAY better than his older brother, and I'm glad that Boris is friends with someone like him

                               Cuphead's pov

When I arrived at school I saw my friends outside the building, they all seemed as equally pissed off as I was over the fact we had gotten suspended and bendy with his freak friends got no punishment whatsoever.

I was also angry over the fact mugs had used my love for him as an excuse to make me apologise to bendy, he did them stupid puppy eyes of his and begged me to be nice to him, pfft as if I'd keep to that promise, I only agreed to be nice to mugs would stop begging me.

-Baroness: "Look who it is!"

I walked over to them and seemed to interrupted Cagney ranting about all the cruel shit he was gonna do to bendy, I just leaned against the school building as he rambled on, I was surprised at how angry he really was, he even mentioned murder wich shook me.

-Cup: "Bro chill out.."

-Cagney: "Of corse your telling me to chill out! You apologised to the little bitch"

And just continued rambling, he was staring to drive me a bit mad with some of the things he said, but there was no way in hell I'd defend that little Demon. Not after what he did to me all these years.

I decided to just walk off and put my shit in my locker, I was debating to just skip class or go to class and just fall asleep when I felt a tap on my back

I turned my head around but didn't see anyone till I looked down and noticed bendy, he looked pissed of and I was prepared to hear the world of insults.

-Bendy: "Did you seriously have someone record the fight and post it!? Like I understand you apologised for the fight in general, but getting someone to record us?!"

I was so confused, I didn't get anyone to record it.

-Cup: "I don't understand what your saying? I didn't get anyone to record it? I didn't even thinking anyone did record it, I thought it was just my group and your group there at the time"

He looked down with teary eyes and I felt a wave of guilt rush over me, It's like something clicked in my head, how much of an ass I was being, I decided to change things, we needed a new start, we couldn't just keep on with this mad game of cat and mouse.

-cup: "Hey listen.. I know me and you haven't had the best relationship, so I'm going to apologise, we need a fresh start, I mean summer break is like 2 weeks away, why not new school year new start, we can't keep on like this"

He looked back up at me and for what seemed like the first time he smiled at me, his smile was adorable I couldn't help but smile back.

-Bendy: "I apologise to, so.. are we friends now"

He put out his hand to shake mine like someone would do whilst making a deal, I took his hand in mine and shook it.

-Cup: "Friends"

I couldn't believe I had made friends with the demon, but one wrong move and I'll beat his ass again, he walked off and I looked over to see my friend looking at me in confusion, Cagney looked like he was about to try throw hands with me, but he wouldn't he's a pussy and he knows I'll break his back.

-Cagney: "Are you serious?! Making friends with that  freak?!"

-Cup: "We decided it's time for a fresh start, we've been enemies since we were young and we think it's time for a change"

Angel looked quite glad to see we had resolved things, but the others looked furious, especially Cagney..

They all stormed off leaving me and angel a bit lost for words, she smiled at me and walked closer to me

-Angel: "Well cups, im glad you followed your heart!"

-Cup: " followed my heart? What do you mean by that?"

She just winked at me with a smirk and I knew exactly what she meant, there was absolutely no way I'd fall for bendy!

The bell rung surprising me and Angel a bit and I decided to skip first lesson as it was art, and I was shit at art.

                                  Bendy's pov

I was sat down at art still shocked me and cup were friends now, even though his friends looked like they wanted to attack me

I remembered how angel sat next to me and I groaned knowing she was probably still mad at me, I saw her sit next to me and tried to not look at her till she spoke up

-Angel: "I heard you and cup resolved things"

I looked up at her and she was smiling down at me, she didn't seem angry what so ever and I was honestly a bit confused

-Angel: "listen I'm sorry for what happened ok, I was just so angry, but if your ok with cup then your ok with me"

-Bendy: "That's good to hear, so can we be friends to?"

She nodded and I couldn't help but smile, maybe school was going to be ok now after all..
