~•Chapter 8•~ {Crushing?}

Bendy's pov

I jolted awake from another nightmare, great the first day on this fucking field trip and I'm already getting these nightmares again..

This nightmare was worse than some of my others though.. my anxiety was through the roof and I was shaking and sweating..

???- "Are you Alright?"

A soft sleepy voice spoke out from the other side of the room, when I looked over I realised it was cup's voice, I must of woken him up by accident.

His hair was scruffy and he could barely keep his eyes open, He had sat up and was rubbing his eyes, once he finished rubbing his eyes he looked at me concerned.

-Bendy: "Oh yeah I'm fine!.. I just had a nightmare that's all.. I usually get them due to my anxiety.. I'm sorry for waking you!."

He stood up and walked over to me, he sat next to me and put his arm around me, I instantly got flustered and I also felt myself calming down slightly.

-Cup: "DONT apologise bendy.. It's alright.. yawn now tell me about it."

Before I could even blink I found myself venting to cup, He didn't say a word and just smiled and nodded wich was oddly comforting..

Once I finished my vent I was unbelievably tired again, I literally closed my eyes for 5 seconds but I ended up drifting off to sleep.

Cuphead's pov

Bendy had fallen asleep on my arm after ranting to me about struggling with nightmares, I was surprised how quickly he had fallen asleep.

I looked down at the tired demon's face, He was flat out, I couldn't help but blush at his messy hair, sleep face and the way he instantly found comfort by talking to me, I tucked him back into bed and went over to my own bed and fell asleep myself.

Bendy's pov

I woke up to someone shaking me awake, it was cup, he was smiling down at me, I remembered how he had stayed up last night to comfort me and he had faint eye bags.

I sat up and pulled him into a hug, I must of caught him off guard because I heard him gasp slightly but then snicker and hug be back.

We hugged for a few seconds and those few seconds felt amazing.. Till he pulled away from the hug and smiled at me.

-Cuphead: "Guess what! Today we are doing canoeing and tonight we're sitting around a camp fire and making s'mores!"

Hearing that make me exited! I hopped out of bed and went into the bathroom to get dressed, I walked out and got all my stuff ready for the day! Just basics like spare clothes cause I'd probably be getting wet in the canoes and a towel, I didn't want to bring my phone cause I didn't want to risk water damage.

Cup was also dressed and he looked so fucking handsome.. I couldn't help but blush.. It hit me now, that I couldn't deny what I was feeling.. I had fell in love with cup..

He must of noticed my very flustered face because he asked if I was alright, I just said I was a bit tired and he nodded, for some reason I noticed his face was also a bit flustered..

I shook off the thoughts that he might actually be into me because I just assumed he was tired from being up late.

We walked out our cabin to the main part of the camping grounds. It was this little water fountain surrounded by places that served food, only a few people were here at the moment so me and cup went and got breakfast, then sat down and waited for our friends to be ready.

We both had just gotten toast and water, we were sat talking for a bit till out the corner of my eye I saw an energetic and happy arctic fox running towards us, her tail wagging like crazy, And yep you guessed it, it was angel!

She sat next to me and just started going on about how happy she was to go canoeing and the camp fire tonight, I'd never seen someone this happy and it brought a smile to my face to see how bubbly she was.

Soon after she joined us Mickey, Minnie, goofy and Oswald joined us, They we're all chatting when I heard I voice speak from behind me, the voice was unfamiliar.. Everyone else must of noticed too because we all looked to see who had spoke and we saw a black and white cat, he kinda looked like cup's cat Jackpot.

He introduced himself as felix and we welcomed him to sit with us, he was nice and outgoing and seemed to get along really well with angel, they both had very adventurous personalities and a lot in common.

Soon after everyone else had arrived for breakfast the people running the camping ground had appeared and started going over the rules.

This activity was going to be survival of being in waters and genuine fun for everyone to enjoy, then after a few hours of canoeing we would be going back to our cabins to fix ourselves up then be setting up camp fires with our friends and make s'mores and have a chill.

We were all so exited, There we're going to be 3 people in each canoe so me, Angel and cup were basically all set.

After we all finished breakfast we walked over to the river, it was quite big and attached to a lake a few miles away, the people running the camp grounds said that we would be aiming to get from the string point to the lake by using team work.

Angel and cup smirked at each other and I knew they would just end up fucking around on the canoe instead of actually trying.

                                    Time skip

Today was amazing, we had such a fun time on the canoes, Angel and cup play fought for most of it and angel even fell off the canoe multiple times, poor girl was freezing, but was alright when she got a shower and sat by the camp fire.

Cup also fell in a few times, he even dragged me into the water, It was so fun but the entire time I saw Cagney, Djimmi and Baroness glaring at me.

But I honestly didn't care, I was enjoying myself with cup and angel and if they tried to start shit up angel and cup would scare them off like they did last time, but something in my mind is telling me that they have something planned..

I shook those thoughts off and tried to enjoy the rest of the night! Me, cup, angel, Mickey, Minnie, goofy, Oswald and Felix were all sat at a campfire making s'mores, I was leading on cups arm as Felix told us scary stories.

I couldn't help but realise how close Felix and Oswald were, They seemed like best friends and I even saw Oswald staring at Felix a few times.

I also shook those thoughts off and just laughed at the stories Felix was telling us, I was so glad I decidedly to come on this trip, it was the perfect chance to make amazing memories with my friends! And it was only the first day!

Hopefully nothing bad happens...

(Finally got this chapter published! Im so so sorry for the delay! Ive been grounded and also studying for some big exams coming up!!
