Things are awkward after the war because Aru and Aiden haven't really spoken to each other in months, then they kissed, then fought, then he sacrificed himself for her and they kissed again
It takes them a couple weeks to properly talk about their feelings in depth
They're kind of in the zone where they both know they like each other, but aren't boyfriend or girlfriend either
Aru probably starts their "deep" conversation very awkwardly, like " so...how was dying? "
Everyone around them gets tired of them and at some point they shove them together (probably Brynne does this lol) like "WE KNOW YOU LIKE EACH OTHER JUST GET TOGETHER I'M TIRED OF THE LONGING PINING LOOKS"
Aru gets really sad a lot after the war because her sister and father who both one loved her, are now gone and Aiden comforts her sometimes, other times it's her sisters who comfort her
It takes a few weeks for Aiden to talk to Malini and she takes some time to be okay with Aiden becoming a big boy
Aru, on the other hand, talks about it much earlier with Krithika, and we've all read her mom's hilarious reaction lol
A/N - Sorry, these aren't very many of them, these are all I could think of. What other oneshots do you want me to do? Should I do Aiden's P.O.V from an earlier book, or stick to NOI?
