"What do Camilo and Lorenzo see in her?" Questioned Catalina frustratingly, brows furrowed as she stared at your figure in distaste.

Javier gave a side glance at he female before focusing back to his filled out journal, pencil swinging around in boredom. "Who?"

She whipped around, fingers pointing accusingly in your direction, unbothered by the confused looks sent her way. "Her!"

Sighing tiredly, Javier closed his book in defeat, raising a brow. "What did she do this time?"

Catalina huffed, arms crossing in annoyance. "She somehow managed to get Lorenzo to give her a bouqeut of carnations!"

"And why are you angry again?" He rolled his eyes, feeling guilty whenever he indulged her in her daily rants about you seeing as you never really did anything that affected him or her in a negative way.

"Because she didn't deserve it! It's carnations, red ones specifically, do you even know what they mean?" She flailed her arms wildly.

"Do tell." He muttered.

"Love and Affection! Which is absolutely unnacceptable because she practically did nothing to get it!"

"How do you even know she didn't deserve it?"

"Because I've been keeping a close eye on her, duh!" Catalina admitted as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Javier grimaced, lips curling back in disgust. "I'm starting to get why Camilo and Lorenzo rejected you, you're such a creep."

Before Catalina could form a protest, an all too familiar voice chimed in.

"What's this discussion I'm hearing my name in?"

Perking up, Catalina sit up straighter, fingers pushing back her hair to fix herself up before turning around with a bright smile. "Lorenzo!" She called out in a high pitched voice.

Javier rolled his eyes again, turning back to look at his friend lazily. "Oh you know, just talking about the latest gossip. Heard you gave your little lady friend a pretty bouquet."

Lorenzo huffed amusedly, arms crossing as he looked fondly at your unaware figure sitting at the water fountain, entertaning a bunch of babes like you usually do. "She'll be a little bit more than a friend once I'm done with her." He stated confidently.

Catalina gasped offendedly causing both males to look at her oddly. "You're actually going to start courting her?!"

She gestured emptyly. "Her!?"

Blinking in confusion, his lips drew back in a frown. "Is there a problem?"

"UGh--! Why do you even like her, like she didn't even do anything to deserve you so why her?!"

Javier frowned, lips parting to state his displeasure. "Thats not really something he's obligated to tell you."

Catalina snapped at him. "I wasn't talking to you Mr. Smart guy!" Causing the male to scoff queitly as he moved to stand up from his place, a hand placed in his pockets whilst the other kept a hold of his journal.

Lorenzo gave her a charming smile. "What Javier said." He said simply turning away from the girl before walking off, the other male following after.

Javier quirked a grin at the gaping Catalina, glossed lips parted as she stared at them walk away with wide eyes.

Looking straight ahead, he walked side by side on his friends side. "So... when exactly are you planning to court her?" Javier started curiously, eyeing you from the corner of his eye.

"In a little bit." Lorenzo answered honestly, callused hand moving to ruffle up his black hair. "Don't want to get her too caught off gaurd. You should've seen her face yesterday, she looked so cute."

Javier smiled amusedly, a huffed laugh escaping his lips. "Oh they are not gonna like that one." He said, shoulders raising and falling in a shrug.

His friends previous lovesick face turned into confusion brown eyes darting from the pavement and into him. "Who?"

"Her hermano mayor and primos, who are practically her gaurd dogs at this point."

At that Lorenzo made a sound of understanding, lips pursed as he whispered a small 'right' in realization.

"Oh! Do you remeber that one time Santiago almost got socked in the face by Francesco because he accidentally tripped her?!" Javier laughed amusedly at the nostalgia, a hand coming down to smack Lorenzos back in joy.

Lorenzo grunted at the impact, shoulders hunching as he brought a hand to his chin, brows furrowed as he contemplated. "... I'll have to win them over somehow."

Humming, Javier averted his eyes from his friend to the ground, lightly bouncing on the cemented road. "Well good luck with that, you have Camilo going after her aswell."

The black haired boy scoffed, stuffing his hands on the pockets on the apron that he forgot to take off. "How'd you know he likes her? Did he tell you?"

He let out a puff of air through his lips. "He didn't have to, have you seen the way he looks at her? It's the same look you always have when she's near."

Lorenzo grumbled silently, teeth bitting at his lips annoyingly. "Don't compare me to that freak show..."

"Hey now, we don't call our friends that." Javier chided playfully causing the other male to groan.

"He is not my friend!"

Javier puffed out a sigh, head turning back to look at you curiously before a laugh rumbled from his chest. "You know, it's funny, two years ago you practically hated her and Camilo couldn't even care less about her,... but now look at you both."

The red headed teen narrowed his eyes at his friend, lips curled in a grin. "Makes me wonder what you guys find so interesting about her."

Lorenzo furrowed his brows, eyes glidding to the side as he avoided Javiers stare. "How about you try to find out for yourself?"

Javiers smile stretched widely. "You know what? I just might."

"Don't steal her away from me though, alright?" The blacknette added, a small glare present on his face as he stared dead set on his friends eyes.

"You have my word." Javier stated finally before waving a goodbye to the serious male.
