Mesmerizing. Awe-struck.
No, a lot more.
Alex's eyes bulged out of their sockets as they gaped over the majestic epitome of the finest architecture the world would ever see.
Her steps involuntarily moved her body towards the beautiful and high marble steps, to the very grand and classy glass entrance door. It was a revolving door made entirely of expensive tinted white glass. And so high, she could not see where it ended.
The foyer lass with the most extravagant security systems and attendance technology.
And also had various artistically created specimens of pillars and columns in subtle metallic colors.
The seating area housed the most engineered, designed white furniture.
There stood five big, precisely robotic entryway card-readers which required you to scan the card before you were allowed the permission to enter the paradise.
She scanned the card that was given to her by Mr. Holly. The little plastic swished in like butter.
It was a temporary one for a one-day visit. She was informed that when she would reach her destination, they would give her a permanent employee card.
The card read her details and automatically, the little counter gateway opened, allowing her inside.
The hall beyond was even more magnificent. It was spread out over such a large area.
Her feet stood upon the suave, black Pertoro marble flooring which spread wherever the eye could see.
Her jaw threatened to drop to ground when she pried her gaze further and saw great escalators and elevators carrying dozens of people.
The whole place could be summed up in only one word- gigantic, Magnificent.
Everything there seemed as if straight shipped from those futuristic animes she had seen.
There were great escalators and elevators made entirely of glass just like she had saw in those sci-fi movies.
As she kept moving forward with her mouth still open in awe, she noticed that out of the four walls encasing the floor, two on the left and right were made entirely of glass, thus giving the view of the beautiful skyline and the rich scenario outside. Talk about natural light.
The other two were high walls composed of and studded with massive, grey stones and Italian grey tiles. The grey gave off a monotonous but strong aura, as if reminding the onlookers in whose supreme presence they were.
One wall had the entryway from which she had just stepped in, the other was across from her which housed the different departments, elevators and escalators.
And above the revolving door was a big digital clock and a digital almanac that informed about the world time and dates according to different time zones.
