I feel like I haven't shown enough scenes of Garcello being the first to develop feelings. It was hinted here and there that he'd already begun to get a crush before (Y/N) even realized, but since there are SO many timeskips between chapters (mostly bc I'm not exactly a consistent fic writer), a lot of the space between is where offscreen development goes.
