Jamie was walking home when Dustin Lucas and Mike were riding behind her "HEY JAMIE" Dustin yelled, him and Lucas had been crushing over Jamie for years
Jamie stopped walking and looked at the boys "you guys alright"
Lucas was huffing out of breath "we needed to talk to you" he stopped his bike
Mike smiled at Jamie "Jamie how comes you haven't been to my house in a while" Jamie was always having dinner at the Byers with Nancy and always would end up talking to the boys about their D&D games. But since her and Nancy didn't speak she unfortunately became more distant from the Byers
Jamie shook her head "guess I've been busy boys" they all stared back at her "what is it you wanted to tell me?"
They all looked at each over contemplating who should ask the question, Dustin cracked under Jamie's glare and blurted it out "do you know anything about Hawkins lab ?" All of the boys stared at him
Jamie hated the word 'Hawkins lab' it made her feel sick to her stomach, she came back to reality after a moment "uh no I don't think so, why do you ask ?"
Lucas looked at the floor "we were just thinking they could help us find Will" he looked up at Jamie "and whenever we asked you about them you would always talk about all of the weapons they probably have in there" he shook it off "it was a stupid question" Lucas turned to the boys "can we go now ?" They all looked defeated.
Jamie pitied the boys after loosing Will, he was their closest member. Before they could ride away Jamie stopped them "no it wasn't a stupid question boys" she gave them all a warm smile "you can come to me about any question anything"
Mike nodded his head "thank you Jamie" he wanted to tell her all about the girl with a shaved head living in his basement but he didn't know if she would freak out and call the cops. He looked at the boys "we better go".

When Jamie came home that night she saw Hopper sitting on the porch smoking a cigarette looking out.
She came up behind him "no luck today with Will ?" She leaned against the fence between her and the outside
